Thanks @moonbabyandthebeast for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Newport M&S has both flavour gins for £18 and last years Elderflower snow globe gin for £15.

wibdib · 21/09/2020 13:38

Anybody know if you can refuse delivery from onbuy and if it will then be returned and your money refunded as you can do with Amazon? Another one who’s waiting for their onbuy delivery so wondering if this would be a way around it to get money refunded or am I going to end up with no dodgy cards and no refund either? Cheers!

Brashopper · 21/09/2020 13:40

It may not still be true, but a manager in the M&S Food department told me this a couple of years ago:

The messages about changing stock prices are sent out from Head Office on Monday evenings. This means that Tuesday morning is the best time to find bargains in food.

JinglesWish · 21/09/2020 13:50

Just done my food shop at M&S, 6 bottles of gin (2 rhubarb, 4 clementine). Price still £18

JinglesWish · 21/09/2020 13:51

*6 bottles available on the shelf

Hophop26 · 21/09/2020 13:53

@wherethewavesarehighest thank you so much! That’s so helpful as I haven’t seen it in real life and we don’t have any lottie dolls (yet), yes anticipating that all the other various small figures we have would want a turn down the slide Smile

dollypartonscoat · 21/09/2020 13:54

@wibdib surely they'll just get dumped through the letterbox though?

My WHSmith order is here. No free crunchie for me Sad

Lellyo · 21/09/2020 13:56

IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 21/09/2020 13:57

Lellyo · 21/09/2020 13:58
@Lellyo Snapfish do personalised playing cards and they've got a deal on at the moment 50% or 30% off depending on how much you spend
@Onlyahalfbottle....oo thanks for this will check them out in a mo. Thanks for replying x

Lellyo · 21/09/2020 14:01
@Lellyo if you have a B&M nearby they have a selection of American sweets now. Couldn't tell you what, exactly, as I haven't really looked.

Home Bargains may have them as well, but I've definitely seen them in B&M.
I had some cheap and obviously (to me) fake UNO cards from Amazon last year. They were for presents and as I already had a real pack the difference in quality was easily seen. I reported them as fake to Amazon - their response was to say they were not fake they were the Indian version or something Hmm they did give me some money back though as far as I remember and I got to keep the shit cards!

nillygin · 21/09/2020 14:29

On the topic of OnBuy though, my in-laws are convinced they are a British equivalent of amazon who pay all their taxes - so are constantly trying to convince us to buy stuff from them. Not sure where they got that information though!

UselessInDisguise · 21/09/2020 14:34

For those that were also interested in Jack's club birthday code from entertainer, you are meant to be emailed three weeks before your childs birthday as PP said.. Mine hadn't come though despite being signed up to notifications so they emailed me a code. They said they're having issues with emails atm so I also hadn't been notified that my parcel was ready to be picked up, it was actually in stock at the time so I could've got it a week ago 🙄 and the jacks club code can only be used online so I cannot return it and rebuy. So... I've just purchased another with the code and will return the full price one. That's the Paw patrol helicopter bagged for £16 from £40...not to shabby. As well as a pack of three paw patrol board games for £4.80, the moonlite starter pack for £3 down from £15, paw patrol snakes and ladders for £3.20 and a fisher price little people tractor for £4. All in just over £40 delivered Grin

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 21/09/2020 14:48

Find it hard to believe M@S would reduce the price of a best selling item before its even gone online.

They are correct, they were a start up founded in Dorset as a bit of an Amazon equivalent. Most of their sellers are from the UK, or the EU. There will always be dodgy sellers sneaking in though I suppose!
22Giraffes · 21/09/2020 15:03

@Riddikulusness Thanks for the heads up. I was the original poster for that UNO deal, I'm really sorry everyone Blush haven't got mine yet but disappointed now. Sorry!

BeaLola · 21/09/2020 15:04

I bought some Uno cards for £1.95 and they have just arrived (Kristi something ) and they are fine

ChristmasSeacow · 21/09/2020 15:10

I’ve seen some talk of Yotos on here and they look quite good, but has anyone actually got one? I’m interested to know what the sound quality is like (if playing music) and also what the battery life is like? I can’t see that info on the website.

I love these threads, as much (if not more!) for the ideas as the bargains. Thanks to the contributors!

Rubyroo73 · 21/09/2020 15:18

My Onbuy delivery arrived this morning (uno flip) - no problem with it so I’m happy!

mumontherun14 · 21/09/2020 15:20

I got my Regatta jackets today from the last thread and they are fantastic really happy with them. Ordered on Wed & they arrived today.
Checked again today for the puppets and they are back in stock but seem to be back to full price.
