Thanks @moonbabyandthebeast for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets

Name of link

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

My uno cards arrived and they are the Indian version. From the outside of the box I wouldn't call them poor quality, but I have no other set to compare it to.
Looks fine for a stocking filler which I am going to use it for

Trumpton · 21/09/2020 17:58

@Mindblank
Not a huge saving £18.69 saving £3.30 for the Lottie fossil hunter doll

BooSurprise · 21/09/2020 18:19

@Riddikulusness oh no, I was also feeling a bit smug about those, now doubly irritated I’ll have to spend more and have wasted my bargain money Hmm

IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 21/09/2020 18:55
@IceCreamAndCandyfloss when did you order with WHSmith? I had a dispatch email from them on 8 September but still haven’t received it. I’ve just emailed them to chase it up.
Thanks
Wednesday when it was free delivery. Arrived on Saturday.

Yeknom · 21/09/2020 19:00

My WH Smith order arrived today (with no chocolate).

Part of my Holland and Barrett order also arrived (with two free samples)

AndddddHerewegoagain · 21/09/2020 19:03

Can't remember who was looking for laser tag but they had it in Robert dyas for £20 today

HoldingForGeneralHugs · 21/09/2020 19:46

@RubySlippers77 thank you for the recommendation! Its very cute im thinking a book for ds 😁 i love buying books so will always find an excuse!

(Sorry its a late reply busy day!)

PinkFluffyForeskin · 21/09/2020 20:00

Thanks @IceCreamAndCandyfloss

SkintSanta · 21/09/2020 20:20

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight hence why I said uncorroborated. Had it been reduced then it would have been a good deal. Did it hurt to pass on a potential saving even if it turned out not to be? 🙄

Someaddedsugar · 21/09/2020 20:30

@Maddie2802 how about a letter from Santa? Lots of sellers on Etsy selling letters and poems

NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2020 20:31

M&S do reduce their Christmas alcohol, so it was a possibility, even if a slim one.

Speaking of which, I need to go and look for their blag Baileys and cranberry Buck's Fizz. Now I WFH, I can't just pop in at lunch time.

TryingtobePrepared · 21/09/2020 20:43

@mogtheexcellent thank you for the lottie clothing tip, the bags will even fit in (stupidly small) advent calender drawers. I'll keep an eye on lightning deals too

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 21/09/2020 20:45

@SkintSanta sorry if my post came across in a bad way, it was more of a ‘I’d be cross with M&S if they did that after I’d just bought some for gifts’
Every suggestion on here for deals is very much appreciated by me. I hate it when companies do great deals after I’ve bought something Grin

SkintSanta · 21/09/2020 20:52

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight yeah sorry for being tetchy. It would have been annoying had they actually done so, more annoying that people post so much crap on fb.

JPduck · 21/09/2020 21:09
@TryingtobePrepared They are currently doing one a day on lightening deals on Amazon. The canoes have already been reduced so worth keeping an eye out for the tree house. Have never seen the outfits reduced.

The fossil lottie sold out quickly as I dont think they had many in stock.

Incidentally anyone else with a lottie mad child might want to check out this person on ebay who does lovely outfits, I have ordered 2 and they are all very good quality. She did a school uniform yesterday in my DDs school colours which sold before I could buy it Sad lottie outfits
Thanks for the Lottie Doll tip.we love the dolls!

wizzie021 · 21/09/2020 21:17

Thanks for those giving Baby Born tips further up the thread!

WisestIsShe · 21/09/2020 21:36

Not Christmas but covid related. I'm a childminder and I need to replace my baby dolls with hatsy bodied versions that can be easily cleaned/any bac wiped. Can anyone recommend a small ish hard bodied doll that isn't too expensive because I'll need three? Thanks.

WisestIsShe · 21/09/2020 21:36

*hard, no idea what hatsy is!

buckeejit · 21/09/2020 21:50

After much deliberation I've just ordered a dyson hairdryer, almost best price was £250 on eBay & there was a 20% voucher so £199 in the end. Hoping it's not dodgy!

ProperVexed · 21/09/2020 22:11

I would like to buy 4 Emma Bridgewater Chillis drink bottles. I saw the link for 15% off above ( thanks, pp) but that site doesn't do the sunflower pattern that I would like. So, as they are £25 each....does anyone know where else I can get a billy bargain?

DaisyChops · 21/09/2020 22:18

I've had an email from John Lewis saying my sylvanian house is out of stock!! I'm kicking myself as I picked a click and collect date in the future! I am having no luck at all with this house!!!
They said if it comes back in stock within 28 days they will send it me off not they will refund me!

EweSurname · 21/09/2020 22:22

@WisestIsShe not sure if these are too pricey but we have some and they’re fairly durable
