Thanks @ClaraLane for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

The M&S gin bottles are £18 and stunning! In store now and online soon. Just saw on my Instagram feed. I want them all!!

sorryiasked · 16/09/2020 07:09

Thanks for the H&B code - I know it's not everyone's idea of a xmas present but it takes flux undies period pants to £15.74 as they're already 25% off. (Nb free delivery doesn't show until final checkout)

@Merriwicks my Amazon links don't work if I'm logged into Smile - could be that?

22Giraffes · 16/09/2020 07:13

@Trumpton @thelegohooverer thank you both Smile

Has anyone used Wilco Lego? I love some of the little building kits they have but I don’t want to get them if it’s a waste ?
Thanks

pasinphoebe · 16/09/2020 07:27

@IceIceCoffee we haven’t had much success with the wilko blox Lego, we’ve had sets with bits missing and just find the quality not great. We’ve had to politely try to tell MIL not to go for that again :-/

NoWordForFluffy · 16/09/2020 07:29

@IceIceCoffee, same as PP above. It's a bit flimsy and doesn't stay built, causing immense frustration. We don't get it now.

PinkDaydreams · 16/09/2020 07:30

Would anyone mind if i started a Christmas book thread?

coffeetofunction · 16/09/2020 07:32

I've just ordered these make up brushed (sorry about the long link) if you used the code underneath they are only £4.99 delivered

WisestIsShe · 16/09/2020 07:47

@PinkDaydreams I think that's a great idea!

RJnomore1 · 16/09/2020 07:57

There’s got to be a sock puppet joke in this thread for the next title!

PinkDaydreams · 16/09/2020 07:57

Done! Hopefully the below link will work Smile

Christmas books not necessarily the classics!

Thegirlhasnoname · 16/09/2020 08:33

I shared the sockshop shop with my mum (not on Mumsnet) and she just sent me a screenshot with a £54 saving on it. Bonkers that a) she spent that much on socks in the first place and b) the website hasn’t made tracks in stopping whatever is making savings of that much possible!

Thank you Christmas angels 😁

IceIceCoffee · 16/09/2020 09:01

Thank you will just stick to actual Lego then 😊

ArthurChristmas2 · 16/09/2020 09:03

@sorryiasked thank you, not Christmassy but been meaning to try period pants for a long time!

JinglesWish · 16/09/2020 09:08

Thanks so much @wibdib!! I just rushed to M&S (practically in my pyjamas) and got both bottles. So happy. It sold out everywhere last year and I couldn’t get it 🥰

EvilHerbivore · 16/09/2020 09:12

@thelegohooverer thanks for the Gringotts idea, bought one for DS1

Hophop26 · 16/09/2020 09:24

Off to M&S fun shopping ......

Hophop26 · 16/09/2020 09:24

Gin shopping!!!

Flackattack · 16/09/2020 09:38

I’m looking for a discount code on bike Air Force ones for an adult!

Any suggestions for gifts for 95 year old nans?
I’ve ordered them personalised glasses cleaning cloths - we always end up buying slippers, shortbread and plants Smile

Flackattack · 16/09/2020 09:38

Nike!!!

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 16/09/2020 09:45

@Flackattack a microwave wheat thing. I got a shoulder one for my Granda and it helped his aches and pains, a plug in heated throw, Reed sticks to make her room smell nice, a photo album of important moments in her life, audio books
