Thanks @ClaraLane for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks
@EvilHerbivore my dc love Christmas on Exeter Street. Bought when they were little but still love age 10. I enjoy it too haha. It’s very lovely and makes me feel all Christmassy.
I second this I bought it on amazon after a recommendation on this thread probably 3 years ago and we've read it every xmas . I love it now .

Allhallowseve · 15/09/2020 19:52

Also I may now have to buy the Christmas Eve tree as this thread never lets me down.

Puppets are on now . I went to buy but don't have prime so delivery was £4,99 ! Is that right?

CosmicVagina · 15/09/2020 20:00

Not sure how much use it is but you can get a free afternoon tea for two at Dobbies garden centres u signing up for their club (£12.00) and using code SUMMER.

My sock shop bargains have arrived, lovely quality, so soft and snuggly. Will be perfect for stocking fillers or Christmas Eve boxes 📦

louisethedisease · 15/09/2020 20:04

@PinkDaydreams I ordered 6 of the dock and bay towels from brand alley and they came really quickly and are absolutely fantastic, no problem at all with anything.

Sneezein3s · 15/09/2020 20:08

Offer is still working with kids Elle cosy socks: www.sockshop.co.uk/products/girls-2-pair-elle-cosy-bed-and-slipper-socks/deco-blue-12-5-3-5-kids/index.html

TheSeedsOfADream · 15/09/2020 20:08

My sock shop socks came too and I actually went "oooooooh" when I put my hand in Grin

neverbreaks · 15/09/2020 20:11

Could anyone help, please? My DD will be 10 by Christmas and has now started asking for a Newborn Doll. I honestly think they’re hideous and overpriced, but it seems to be what she wants. Am I likely to find one less than £100? Thanks

Lemming20 · 15/09/2020 20:13

I keep missing the puppets!! But I want the barn ones and gather it’s only on the pet ones?

Amazon have Baileys 1L on special offer today - £15 - I get it every year and think this is a good deal but if anyone has a better one please let me know! I have 3 people who need Baileys x

Sneezein3s · 15/09/2020 20:18

@neverbreaks my dd10 is obsessed with reborns. You can get them for less than £100 on eBay. Check that she doesn’t want a specific brand - my DD likes Reva Shick and
Ashton Drake. You can pick them up in perfect condition boxed on eBay or around £100 here: www.bradford.co.uk/sweetheartdoll.html

Natmat1 · 15/09/2020 20:29

Amazon Smart Plug, works with Alexa on offer at 9.99 (normally 24.99) using code SMARTPLUG
T&C's say select customers only but might be worse a shot
I love it because it boils the kettle for me whilst I am in a shower without me having to go downstairs to turn it on. I am thinking I could try using it to turn my slow-cooker on off via alexa app remotely (later in the year) so could be quite handy for things like that

Flackattack · 15/09/2020 20:42

We own lots of traditional Christmas books but not seen these before and I love Christmas books! Off to order exeter street, Christmas Eve tree and how winston delivered Christmas!
Do I need puppets???

Flackattack · 15/09/2020 20:43

And the empty stocking!

WhereTheresAHill · 15/09/2020 20:45

OMG @Natmat1 what a great gift idea! Thanks!

22Giraffes · 15/09/2020 20:45

Ok I'm a massive pain but I've scrolled past all the sock talk and now I might need some, what's the offer please? Blush

22Giraffes · 15/09/2020 20:48

That sounded really rude! What I meant was I've read the chat whilst scrolling but didn't take notice of the actual sock offer. I'm shutting up now!

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 15/09/2020 20:49

@Natmat1didnt work for me but was worth a shot. I love my smart plugs. Best thing about Alexa in my opinion. Especially with Xmas lights

allatonce99 · 15/09/2020 20:53

Just came across this Secret decoder kit its £4.99 but might be nice for those looking for the spy gadgets?

allatonce99 · 15/09/2020 20:56

They also have a Delux activity secret decoder set for £9.60

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 15/09/2020 20:57

@scanner20 im looking forward to the clubhouse too, dd has watched the YouTube unboxing so many times now!! Yes the prices do spike on the hard to find and sought after ones. Facebook marketplace is good for bargains though, I got the crystal star special edition for dds birthday at a v reasonable price compared to new and on ebay! Her other love is llamas so got to try and get boppi cheap as hers needs a friend apparently, don't want to spend £20 on another twerking llama! And the hatchimals wow is also on the list 😳 she has expensive taste 🤣

Scanner20 · 15/09/2020 21:04

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts she has a hatchimals wow from her grandparents, they are £25 in symths but we managed to get one in Argos. I know how you feel. I'm happy with some bargains I have this year and thanks to this thread so has helped get her a few extra bits. Have to stop now though so no more lol!! I'll think of you at Christmas unboxing the clubhouse 🤣

22Giraffes · 15/09/2020 21:05

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts if it helps the Hatchimals Wow is half price at Smyths at the moment Smile

Trumpton · 15/09/2020 21:11

I think you put these in yr basket and the next sale item comes free

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 15/09/2020 21:12

Thank you!! Hatchimals wow ordered, I hope it lives up to her dreams. Ive replaced boppis batteries at least twice since last Christmas and she loves her fingerlings so I'm thinking it will go down well! Just got to find rainbow boppi and dd2 is done except stocking fillers!!

@scanner20 I feel like I've already opened it with the amount we have seen the youtube video 😂😂
