Thanks @ClaraLane for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

I got my Regatta order. Some things didn’t suit me though they were good in general, however note that return postage is paid by the buyer!!

nugget18 · 15/09/2020 16:37

It's home bargains that has the Christmas hand sanitizer.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 15/09/2020 16:38

@Twilightstarbright home bargains - maybe in soap section if not in Xmas section

thelegohooverer · 15/09/2020 16:42

I had to climb up to the attic and rummage for this one because I couldn’t remember the name of it: The Christmas Eve Tree is one of our favourite books.

Scanner20 · 15/09/2020 16:54

@mogtheexcellent they have a birthday lottie doll tomorrow at 7am, how much did you get one for today?

Scanner20 · 15/09/2020 16:56

@pinkjam @nocutsnobuttsnococonuts my dd hasn't seen the new remix collection, I'm sure she will spot them once the symths book arrives! They are more money this time and yes the plane is a lot.

Twilightstarbright · 15/09/2020 16:58

My girls love the Spy Ninjas on YouTube, has anyone got any spy gadgets they can recommend?

Notlongnow1 · 15/09/2020 17:04

@Jess26385

They say unavailable for me
Check again! They are there for me. Very hit and miss though!
Jess26385 · 15/09/2020 17:06

I got them! Thanks everyone :)

VividImagination · 15/09/2020 17:08

I got the puppets!

whatwillicallmyself · 15/09/2020 17:17

I had them in my basket went to pay and it said not available, I keep getting email alerts and missing them, those blasted puppets are driving me up the wall.

PinkJam · 15/09/2020 17:36

@Scanner20 I thought they seemed more expensive. Going to have to put a stop to buying more soon I think as will just be too many and then they won’t all get played with.

MonaChopsis · 15/09/2020 17:41

@whatwillicallmyself I have the one linked to below. There is a knack to opening it without carnage but its pretty good, and mine lives under my sofa quite happily.

MonaChopsis · 15/09/2020 17:41

It's not a bargain though... Sorry!

Scanner20 · 15/09/2020 17:42

@PinkJam I got one in Argos for £16 back in July along with some others and the glamper. They just keep releasing more! This is the first year I've bought any and try and buy on offers. I don't feel my dd is into them enough yet to pay £40 for a doll, plus she's not asked for them. I did get the clubhouse though and with two small dolls wasn't too bad. We have birthday and Christmas close so I hope with some play sets she'll enjoy them and have more play options. At the moment it's more changing outfits. I think the furniture sets are good value though

margaritasbythesea · 15/09/2020 17:45

On the back of my thrilling alarm clock request, could anyone recommed a food flask for me? DCs are having to eat a packed lunch and they are not happy about eating cold food every day. Older kids 10 and 12. Many thanks!

ClaraLane · 15/09/2020 17:47
@Tiggles I’d say the Tolkien book is suitable for an adult too. I find it lovely to read and it’s so interesting to read the letters sent around and during the war.
Oh my gosh, thank you for mentioning this book. I had it as a kid but had completely forgotten about it!
