Here we go!

I've got a busy day tomorrow, so I'm starting this now, ready for when it's needed.

Air corps have new jets here, and are flying over the house a couple of times a week, back again this morning. Have noticed on flightradar that UK Air Corps jets over Anglesey are now showing up too, so that is interesting to watch.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 21/09/2020 13:17

We take Vitamin D with calcium and Vitamin C with zinc and have not been ill and unlike Fluffy I have worked all over the place. It is just my hay-fever being a sod at the moment still.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 21/09/2020 13:18

I love Flightradar Biddy.

pussycatinboots · 21/09/2020 13:38

I have a pill box like a little old lady because I kept forgetting whether I'd taken my antenatal vitamins DH has one Grin I'm spectacularly crap at remembering any tablets tbh.

Biddy and why, I love flightradar too - and freedar as it has lots of RAF/Police/Helimed stuff that FR doesn't show. I miss watching the A380s heading into Manchester, they'd fly over/near us. 😢

NerosFiddle · 21/09/2020 13:40

I do have a multivitamin but I'm useless for taking them. I have to take so much that if you shook me I'd rattle.

NerosFiddle · 21/09/2020 13:41

I saw the spitfire fly over last week. It was supposed to be a thank you to the NHS.

pussycatinboots · 21/09/2020 13:50

Nero so did I. I think it was flying over all the hospitals. It was nice to see it, as it's engine may well have been made here. Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2020 14:56

I love Flightradar too!

Why, my hayfever is bloody awful. Worst it's ever been. Unfortunately it gives me a persistent cough, which loves to rear its head in shops! 🙈🤣

It's 26° here Hmm suppose I'll go outside for a bit when the dc get back and get some vitamin d. I just feel like the weather should be turning now but September is often warm isn't it?

We've got roast chicken for dinner, which I couldn't be bothered to cook yesterday. I think I'll just do cauliflower cheese with it maybe with leeks. The dc can have sweet corn too 🤮

sueelleker · 21/09/2020 15:33

@WreckTangled. I love sweetcorn with chicken.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 21/09/2020 17:15

My hayfever has been horrendous this year. I also cough on the rare occasion I end up in a shop and also the second I walk into a patient's house 😀

MarshmallowManiac · 21/09/2020 17:18

Evening everyone. Nice sunny day here now, this morning was foggy for ages.

Big hugs Crazy hope you feel better really soon. I take Vit D every day and don't seem to get ill that often famous last words Grin I put them beside my cereal bowl every night so I don't forget. It's now become a habit.

I have one too Firefly and I take Vitamin D, Cod Liver Oil, B12 (and injections every 3 weeks), folic acid and lots of iron as I'm anaemic and seem to have a problem with absorption __Doc says take loads and some will get there-- Grin

Good luck with your jobs Biddy

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 21/09/2020 17:20

An actual nice calm day at work today!
We are in local lockdown though that sucks :(

BiddyPop · 21/09/2020 17:21

We're having chicken as well - mini kievs from M&S Party food last Christmas that we had frozen...emptying out the freezer time of year. (We had lasagna last night, but I'd only put that in 2 week ago...Sad that it's gone as an emergency/easy dinner, but it was tasty and welcome in the chill!!). Tomorrow is chicken risotto (a leftover cooked breast and stock from freezer, and a tiny handful of leftover from the roast chick we did on Saturday - not even a sandwich-worth!!). I'll figure out the rest of the week later.

Work done for the day, about to turn off computer to put kievs and oven chips on, and probably have a long shower. Then sewing for the evening. Or knitting.

MarshmallowManiac · 21/09/2020 17:25

Me too Biddy memory so bad Grin I have other meds too which I forget on a regular basis. All the time I forget to go for my B12 jabs, and I get other family members to remind me, I'm hopeless!

Sounds lovely Wreck we've got pulled pork.

WreckTangled · 21/09/2020 17:36

I need wine. And I'm not a big drinker. We don't even have any wine. Please send me some. I'll swap it for a ten year old.

NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2020 17:46

If the 10 year old is the reason you need wine, then I'm out, I'm afraid!

pussycatinboots · 21/09/2020 17:52

Wreck Wine best I can do - you can keep the 10yo, I wouldn't know what to do with one Grin unless you can duct tape them to a wall Wink

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/09/2020 18:08

Please send me some. I'll swap it for a ten year old

Ten year old malt whisky?
Ten year old Ford Fiesta?
Ten year old pair of 40 denier tights ?

(I don't even have wine so I;m no good to bargain with . DS has a bottle of untouched vodka though )

MarshmallowManiac · 21/09/2020 18:35

If your stuck 70 and the vodka is cluttering up your house, I wouldn't be offended if you sent it too me Wink

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/09/2020 19:03

Xmas Grin It's his Gaming Contest Vodka but he's been too busy to do one of his 3am gaming sessions with his mates (all Socially Distanced obvs)

DS only ever drinks out with his mates and very little even then.

I'm eyeing up the vodka to make Dishwasher Vodka but I don't drink either Xmas Grin

MarshmallowManiac · 21/09/2020 19:32

Yes would love it to make Frys choc cream vodka 70, hope you get it for your Dishwasher Vodka. Smile
