Thanks @sorryiasked for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

What about something on a theme she's interested in? There's a few space sets that are good, minecraft, landmarks etc

VacMan · 03/09/2020 01:08

@Givealittlebit

God I can't keep up this year! Pretty much missed the whole of the third thread. Is it just me or are they moving much quicker earlier this year? Trying to figure out if it's yet another effect of Covid (always welcoming new bargain hunters - these threads have been amazing for me the past few years!)
Yes they are flying by! I'm nearly done already this year.
BadgerFace · 03/09/2020 06:04

Wow, I have a day off MN because of work and cone back to 250 messages and it’s only September...!

My Mountain Warehouse order turned up yesterday, so many thanks again to the poster who highlighted them. I forget about them every year and then buy one bargain package due to this thread! New showerproof spring coats for the kids just in time to start school today...

Lockdownhairdontcare · 03/09/2020 06:08

@Scbchl Friends central perk went down well with teen DD.

BadgerFace · 03/09/2020 06:09

Olive & Sage have a summer sale on. I hadn’t come across them before but they do home and garden accessories. I bought the DDs this dragon for the garden which they will LOVE. £16 down from £22 and free delivery.

Although I suspect he may end up living in the sitting room once they see him...

PinkDaydreams · 03/09/2020 07:13

@lilythepink32 it’s a Christmas thread where we all post bargains/offers/codes to help each other out to keep spending down!
I also like this thread as we recommend gifts for recipients too.

It’s generally a very friendly and happy thread, but be warned you may become addicted to finding bargains!!Wink

Courtney555 · 03/09/2020 07:36

Got the castle, many thanks!!

Now if anyone sees that blasted pirate ship on offer again....

xTinkerhellx · 03/09/2020 07:47
@pasinphoebe I have the urbanista wireless headphones. Never had the AirPods so can’t compare but I am happy with them. They are around £27 on Amazon, so a bit cheaper than the ones another PP linked to.

@Luxplus DD had the Barbie advent calendar one year and TBH it was a bit of a disappointment - most of it was the rubbishy plastic accessories such as shoes, headbands, “handbags” etc for the dolls, rather than actual clothes. And the shoes get lost very easily....
You are a God among women. Been looking at those headphones for ages but they've always hovered around the £60 mark and I am cheap!

YourHandInMyHand · 03/09/2020 08:04

I need to buy a ps4. Not for Christmas but because I'm in the midst of a separation and he's taking the ps4 with him, which my DS1 is super sad and concerned about.

I don't know whether to buy a preowned one, or just buy a new one knowing its going to work and not be a gamble. I could stretch to a new one just about but can't see any offer codes or ways to get cashback etc.

If anyone sees any good deals or codes please let me know.

sorryiasked · 03/09/2020 08:21

@YourHandInMyHand have a look at Cex add they do a 24 mth guarantee on their preowned consoles. You need to find one in stock near you though as the P&P otherwise wipes out the saving.

ShandlersWig · 03/09/2020 08:25

Dr Botanicals - use code [FREEART1] to claim your FREE Artichoke Superfood Firming Night Moisturiser - just pay postage!

Usually costs £19.99, postage is £4.99 good for a stocking filler or if anyone is doing hampers.

Birdladybird · 03/09/2020 08:39

We got our PS4 on a lightening deal on Amazon, worth waiting for those! It was a bargaining came with about 6 games too.

ClaraLane · 03/09/2020 08:44
**@Yeknom* @HanPanPeg* secondhand would definitely do just fine, it really is just the storage of it!

Might just need to make the cupboard of doom under the stairs off limits if I find one for a good price Smile
They went on offer last year via Ikea family because we got one for DD, if you sign up for Ikea family then keep an eye out. I reckon it was around November time. It wasn’t hard to build, took me and my Dad about an hour if that?

allatonce99 · 03/09/2020 08:49

Have you seen this site for escape room games? I have visited their rooms and enjoyed playing the actual 'games'
If you find them on Facebook and message them they have mini games you can play online and win a discount code but not sure if it can be used to buy the puzzle games.
Escape games
On Facebook they're 'The panic rooms - Gravesend'

thelegohooverer · 03/09/2020 08:53

Regatta have a 70% off sale if anyone is stocking up on coats/wet gear in Ireland. No code, just reductions on their website.

Neom have money off
15OFF - for £15 off when you spend £60
25OFF - for £25 off when you spend £90
35OFF - for £35 off when you spend £120

thelegohooverer · 03/09/2020 09:03

Lego movie maker is £21.99 down from £44.99

It’s for stop motion animation, rather than the usual building type set. Might be a good one for Lego obsessed kids if you don’t want to add more bricks to the Lego mountain.
