Thanks @sorryiasked for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@Elpheba - those Lego bargains are awesome, I'm somewhat jealous! I'm not sure where our nearest Waitrose is...might have to find out to see if they have any reduced Lego...

40% off full price items at Landsend, code KL40

IggyAce · 02/09/2020 14:13

Checking in, happy to hear a few of you have treated yourself to the coat offer. I saw the coat in store a few weeks back and was going to buy it on payday, glad I waited.

Thegirlhasnoname · 02/09/2020 14:14

My Lands End sale orders came today. None for presents but all for me. Dead chuffed with the merino wool jumper and some other bits which should do me nicely over winter and the 3rd trimester without forking out tons of a “proper” maternity wardrobe!

Father Christmas usually brings us a new board game for Christmas Day. This year I am looking at the Escape The Room type ones to pass the time and for us to work together for once.

Anyone on here have any advice? I know they are one use only so not a bargain but if they pass a few hours and are fun that's fine.

Looking at the ThinkFun Escape the Room ones or Thames & Kosmos Exit the Game ones. DCs are 10&13.

Photobox also have a 30% off wth no min spend until 7th September SAVE30 or a 50% off with a £50 spend I think.

Just looking at their photo gifts section - who on earth would have thought this time last year it’d be an option to buy a face mask personalised with a photo as a Christmas present!

Annie1290 · 02/09/2020 14:43

I got three identical look fantastic boxes too 😭

Not escape room, but cooperative and reusable.

Would suggest pandemic or eldritch horror assuming all players are secondary age or older

Vebrithien · 02/09/2020 15:09

I got three of the purple/other boxes that were shown on the last thread.
If anyone in is interested in swapping, I'd be happy to decant one, and send the contents in the post.

Vebrithien · 02/09/2020 15:11

That's referring to the Look Fantastic mystery boxes.

threesenoughthanks · 02/09/2020 15:14

I got three purple look fantastic boxes too. Although seeing as they are for my three teenage daughters it's probably for the best they are the same or it would cause arguments. I swear they can argue over an empty box never mind one full of goodies Hmm

Vebrithien · 02/09/2020 15:18

This one, happy to swap for a pink one!

riotlady · 02/09/2020 15:18

Identical LF boxes here too!

sorryiasked · 02/09/2020 15:22

@lexloofah not many of the escape room games are reusable so if that's a factor then you'll need to check. Some helpful info here

ThePurpleGirl · 02/09/2020 15:24

Thank you @BooSurprise for the Argos Lego Dot packs. They'll make great birthday gifts for DD's friends. I've bought a couple of each!

buckeejit · 02/09/2020 15:28
