Thanks @sorryiasked for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.

@pasinphoebe I got cheap AirPods as recommended on here last year (i10 I think) but they are garbage to be honest. We’ve been through two pairs, they just stop working. Others might have had more luck with them.

Waitrose yesterday had a third off Neals Yard, although limited choice. Also third off Green and Blacks chocolate miniature multipacks.

I’m still looking for recommendations for a drinks fridge for teenagers room if anyone has any thoughts?

Isadora2007 · 02/09/2020 17:34

@LifeInAHamsterWheel dd loves the £17 one from amazon... I will try to attach a photo of which one as I can’t do links 🙈

@laylalalalao my dd has one and she has played with it on and off along with the wrapples however a lot of people say they are a 5 minute toy, so guess it depends on the child.

Scanner20 · 02/09/2020 17:44

@autumncountryleaves wish they were these prices last year!

UselessInDisguise · 02/09/2020 17:49

Don't know if this has been mentioned but yankeebundles have some good items in their clearance like this bronze owl votive holder plus candle for £5.
owl yankee i have never heard of them but they have good reviews on trust pilot and free UK delivery no minimum spend.

I also found the same with the cheap AirPods. Not great sound quality and after about 2 months they just stopped working completely

buckeejit · 02/09/2020 17:51

I like the anker ones - about £35ish IIRC but I've lost the charging case in the last couple of weeks annoyingly! Also only really used them for audiobooks so good enough for me

buckeejit · 02/09/2020 17:53

£34 with voucher

OMG love the Asda coats, thanks for that and thanks so much for the new thread. Got loads of ideas now just waiting till payday next week xxx

DoctorYang · 02/09/2020 18:09

My LookFantastic boxes arrived, 2 were the same box but had slightly different products inside, the 3rd box was completely different.

JaquelineHyde · 02/09/2020 18:11

Hello, one and all.

Can’t believe how many years I have been joining you all around Aug/Sept every year.

Thank you again Reastie for another year of wonderful threads and saving me a bloody fortune! We really should get you nominated for a knighthood or something.

PinkFluffyForeskin · 02/09/2020 18:15

Which pens @NightOwl19? Thanks

DoctorYang · 02/09/2020 18:18

I've been getting these subscription snack boxes recently, the £12.99 is great value for a box of snacks from a different country each month - great for teens or students (and me!).

snacksurprise.com/

WisestIsShe · 02/09/2020 18:47

@UselessInDisguise I've used Yankee Bundles loads and would highly recommend them. Quick delivery, great value, never been disappointed.

Zippea · 02/09/2020 18:49

I got three LF boxes the same. They are going back to them.

I also think that to describe the contents as values around £80 is overly generous at best.

margaritasbythesea · 02/09/2020 18:50

Anyone with kids interested in geology or fossils should check out the site eliope linked me to upthread.

My little geek is going to lose his mind when he sees it!

here

quarentini · 02/09/2020 18:54

I've ordered the brushes, the cork screw and the Yankee bundle.
Thanks

NightOwl19 · 02/09/2020 18:58

@PinkFluffyForeskin

Which pens *@NightOwl19*? Thanks
Sorry I did attach a picture but not sure if it worked, BIC 12 pack on amazon if you search that it should come up. Hope that helps
