Thanks @sorryiasked for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

This stationary subscription box looks beautiful -space themed this month. My DS will love it. Half price first box and can cancel any time papergang.ohhdeer.com/new-sub-offer?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=cpc&fbclid=IwAR1zuxWowiejiO3hOi-WNH8aFj_hV4qN1uSklkO5bm7t_FV_47ilEetYks4#

FYI regarding Look fantastic mystery boxes.
One of my LF boxes was marked on front & damaged back. spoke to live chat & mentioned I had duplicated boxes and they apologised and offered £5 credit to the account for the duplicates & £2 refund for my damaged box.
Maybe worth speaking to them just for the £5 credit if your going to use them for anything else !

@Vebrithien

This one, happy to swap for a pink one!
I'll happily swap a pink box for a purple one! I have no idea how to PM to sort it out thought, so feel free to message me

Thanks to Eliope and Coffeeonthesofa. Very helpful although pulling in different directions!

IggyAce · 02/09/2020 15:44

I forgot to share these gems from home bargains.
The cute but tacky toilet fancy dress was only £4.99.
My teen dd was laughing her head off at the Fart Jacobs, I have no idea what is in for £16.99 as I was laughing too.

@buckeejit

The best I could find was to use my nectar points to double up (on double up promotion) and got them that way. Probably paid a few quid ontop. Couldnt find any other way to get a discount.

Hi to all, I am delighted to have allowed myself on to this board as I always hold off until September Xmas Grin Thank you for the links so far, I am hoping that these threads will be as fun this year as they've always been, despite covid. I'm also hoping that I'll actually save money, as I usually end up buying lots of things that are fantastic bargains but not really saving myself money overall!! but I suppose that's the way it goes at Christmas (well, it does for me anyway)

I think DD would love one of those big cosy blanket hoodie things that I think are called an Oodie?! She's only 10. I'd love a heads-up if anyone comes across a bargainous one please!

Can someone link the ASDA coat again please?

DiscontentedWoman · 02/09/2020 16:02

My Look Fantastic order arrived - 3 different boxes. It's mostly skincare which I prefer to make-up so I'm very pleased. The lipstick isn't my colour but I can pass it on. I ended up with 1 pink, 1 purple and then a green and gold box.

I have an oodie & so does my DD, hubby and Mum! Don't have a discount code unfortunately We went for the Family bundle as it worked out cheaper. Think it worked out £39 each! We love them, can't wait for the colder nights to wear, even though I do wear them on the cooler evenings already!

The entertainer has fingerlings for £5 each. Would they be good for a 5 year old girl?

mummyof2boys30 · 02/09/2020 16:11

Tk maxx has our generation dolls for 19.99 and outfits for 9.99. My local had about 5 different styles of dolls

Sunshineskies · 02/09/2020 16:12

Sunshineskies · 02/09/2020 16:13

KTR7615 · 02/09/2020 16:17

Got an email from Cox & Cox for 20% off of full priced items using code EM0820, valid until 30/09. Not sure if it is single use but it doesn’t say so.

WisestIsShe · 02/09/2020 16:25

Three green boxes from look fantastic for me. Bit jealous of those of you who got a mix. C'est la vie.

Thank you to the poster who added the link and code for the bath bombs. I've ordered some and can't wait for them to arrive!

For those looking for books. The "Books for Bugs" website is fantastic all year round value. All books £2.50, some even go to £1! Theyre my new go to since The Book People closed down.

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 02/09/2020 16:34

Ordered the coat in black and teal Blush

autumncountryleaves · 02/09/2020 16:43

Just got back from Home Bargains, they had moon and me toys for very very cheap.

The large Pepi Nana talking doll was £3.99 instead of RRP £25, the house was £3, the set of 5 figures were £2 and the cars with a figure were £1.50 each!
