Thanks @sorryiasked for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.

I need a main present or two for a 7 month old girl. Any suggestions please?

buckeejit · 08/09/2020 22:53

@Carrie76 the older models I got were adjustable but not sure the recent model is - my 7 year old wears them happily though!

What's your budget @Raindancer411?
DumplingsAndStew · 08/09/2020 23:07

Thanks @VividImagination I will show the HP ones to DC. At the moment she'll only wear obscure indie gaming tshirts from America, which is costing a fortune in exchange rate and customs.

Duckyneedsaclean · 08/09/2020 23:35

I've just ordered a Craft Gin Club box, think the gin will make a decent present for Dbro and I can eat the goodies myself Wink

With a referral it's £24 for your first box. Posted mine on the thread

Raindancer411 · 09/09/2020 03:51

@AintOverUntilTheCatLadySings Yo to £80 as it's her main gifts

Bluewavescrashing · 09/09/2020 04:04

Woolovers - lovely merino jumpers, no acrylic. CA20 code gives 20% off and free postage.

wafflethewonderdog · 09/09/2020 06:33

@Raindancer411

We got ours a Smartrike round about that age.

@VividImagination Savil Row is on topcashback and BOU20 (I think) gives a discount (it's on the last thread but I'm on the app so can't check - BOU something)

Smileatthesmallthings · 09/09/2020 08:21

@Vividimagination I used BOU24 for 20% off at Saville Row.

CactusForever · 09/09/2020 08:48

@VividImagination I'd love to get the HP t shirts for my DS but he's only 6. I'm wondering if small would still be massive on him.

FilthyforFirth · 09/09/2020 09:22

I was getting a few things in the Asda baby event (10 weeks to go today!) and came across this. I'm getting it to put away for baby's first birthday next year, but might be a good present for anyone with little ones to buy for this year. @raindancer411 maybe this? Fisherprice interactive armchair £45 down to £25.

My 8 month old loves that yellow chair. Bought it for my daughters 1st birthday but she mostly used it to stand on to look out the window. She was 7 months her first Christmas and her favourite present was an activity table (now much loved by DS) - the plastic kind with lots of lights, noise and buttons.

FYI I've never seen that chair being sold for £45, would expect to pay £25-30.

Oh I have a trike but this maybe good idea for going out than the pram when she is more mobile

VividImagination · 09/09/2020 09:43

@Chocolateteabag @Smileatthesmallthings thank you. That’s one more gift sorted.

superstar84 · 09/09/2020 09:44

Can anyone recommend an apron for a very tall 8 year old boy? In clothes he's age 11-12

The ones I've found are adults which would be too big or young kids which are tiny on him

Ds loves to cook so I think he'd like his own apron

VividImagination · 09/09/2020 09:48

@CactusForever I think they would be pretty big. Dgs is almost 9 and they would be too big on him.

margaritasbythesea · 09/09/2020 10:04

superstar84 I would try a cheap adult one as the tend to skimp on material. I bought one for £2 for my similar DS last year in the Jane Asher range at Home Bargains (fortunately he likes birds) and it was perfect.

Yeknom · 09/09/2020 10:19

Marks and Spencer have just emailed me to say sale of up to 70% off, not looked myself yet x

Doyouknowthisisnotmyname · 09/09/2020 10:27

Raindancer411 · 09/09/2020 10:42

Thanks, I shall have a look at the chair too

sorryiasked · 09/09/2020 10:44

Got a voucher from the checkout at Tesco yesterday for £5 off a £35 spend on toys instore/online (excludes gaming/books)
If any regulars would like it PM me.

UselessInDisguise · 09/09/2020 11:04

Thanks very much @FilthyforFirth I've just brought a chair for my ds2. It's the same price on amazon but I'd rather support asda (amazon fat cat making a mint out of me right now 🙄) DS2 will be 11months this Christmas

IggyAce · 09/09/2020 11:07

Just got a large Lego storage head for £15 in B&M, they are also filling their shelves with Christmas stock and had a few advent calendars out.
