Thanks @sorryiasked for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Home Bargains have Halloween themed bath bombs for 69p. I got a mango scented one and a strawberry scented one. Also, nets of pumpkin foil covered choc balls. Thought they’d be good for hiding around the house (like an Easter hunt) instead of trick or treating this year.

Lellyo · 08/09/2020 14:18

My Dunedin order has just arrived , scarfs are lovely, thought they may be a little thicker, but they are nice. Thanks for posting x

buckeejit · 08/09/2020 14:19

@Carrie76 I bought August wireless headphones for dc - so good that I used them myself for about a year! Currently £19.95 on eBay but have bought them for £13 odd-refurb but looked new. Currently £33ish on amazon

lucysmam · 08/09/2020 14:24

My scarves have just arrived too - I'm pleased with them for just over £6 but also thought they'd be a little thicker (and wider, even though I looked at the measurements!). I've attached a pic of mine

Thank you rubyslippers entertainer tiana out of stock unfortunately but will try to find it on amazon. Swimsuit looks great, right up DDs street (she prefers to wear swimming cossy over real clothes any season!)

theyips · 08/09/2020 14:35

I didn’t see Halloween bath bombs in our home bargains singapore but I got these fetching spooky hand soaps (I will be reusing the bottles, probably year round 🎃)

My 3 beauty boxes have arrived, all identical, I'll probably split them

Inside:
A full size bath bomb
Elemis Papaya Enzyme mask
A mascara full size
An eyeliner
Madara eye cream
PO Pomegranate facial oil.

sorryiasked · 08/09/2020 16:41

Lots of geomag in the entertainer sale too

Thanks for the heads up re 'what's that smell game' had been debating it, but £3 made it easy.

CompleteBarstool · 08/09/2020 16:44

The Range and Home Bargains had USB plug-in desk fans for £2.99 which would be a good stocking filler for teens. White or copper from what I remember.
They're boxed so would bulk out a stocking a bit

Riverhouse · 08/09/2020 16:56

Tesco had Mixx Streambuds XL wireless earphones down to £12.50. Haven't tried them but get good reviews on Amazon

Courtney555 · 08/09/2020 17:00

Just to say....don't buy "What's that smell"

It's absolutely rancid. Not in a funny way.

I speak from scarred experience.

WaitingForEgg · 08/09/2020 17:09

Hoping to get the Barbie dream house for my wee 5 year old. If anyone sees it on offer can you shout. I believe it went down to around £170 in the sale last year

Carrie76 · 08/09/2020 17:17

@buckeejit thanks for the info on August headphones, they look great. Are they adjustable, I’m afraid they’ll be too big for dc’s head!

22Giraffes · 08/09/2020 17:33

@Courtney555 I totally agree, What's That Smell is nasty, I refuse to play it Envy

JinglesWish · 08/09/2020 17:38

Good stocking fillers from Home Bargains just now.

99p each for the bath/beauty bits
49p for Frozen2 hair bobbles
£1.99 for Thomas train
£2.99 for Ryan’s World Slime Egg
£1.49 for Crayola Minis

This was a big bargain for me but may not be for everyone....
My DS 7 wants the Polar express train for Christmas I have been tracking it on Amazon as nowhere else sells it and was £170! BUT last week Costco got them in for £65! Prices on Amazon now dropped to £95 so still much cheaper!
Costco also do The Hogwarts Express which is £120 on Amazon and £65 in Costco.
Warning: reviews are VERY mixed about these items but as my DS desperately wants it and will be his main gift I know that even if it stop working and he has to push it around the track he will be happy!
Polar Express and Harry Potter

IggyAce · 08/09/2020 17:57

In wilko’s today and they had a load of frozen 2 mugs reduced to 75p and Olaf pencil to 50p. Primark looked to be reducing Frozen stuff in their home dept. Its obviously store dependent but you might get lucky.

Puffinhead · 08/09/2020 18:33

@aimslou, I’ve just received an oversized hoodie from Amazon (like an oodie). It was £22, free delivery. I’m really happy with the quality, I’ve checked the seams/stitches and it seems fine.

I can’t link but if you search for Sienna Hoodie you should find it.

aimslou · 08/09/2020 18:36

@Puffinhead thank you, I will have a look x

Wtfdidwedo · 08/09/2020 18:41

Any recommended AliExpress Lego or Duplo sellers? I've got a 4 year old who's showing a bit of interest in Lego/Duplo but not enough for me to fork out £50 on sets. There's Elsa and Belle castles for about £25 which look like a decent alternative and seem to have good reviews, but would be handy if anyone had ordered from specific sellers recently.

Is that the Lego hogwarts express? We bought it last year (I think) for £50 in the Black Friday sale, so may be worth hanging on.
