Thanks @sorryiasked for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

There's 50 stripey paper pick n mix bags for about £1.80 on amazon, I've ordered some to go with it

Anydreamwilldo12 · 07/09/2020 08:52

@Lockdownlumpy this is the link for the slippers, they also sell the same ones on the Sheepers website. They look lovely.

I bought this Little People Big Dreams softcover book set at Scholastic. At £14.99 for 6 that's £2.50 per book. Delivery is free over £30. If your kids are at school they can get cashback too.

1stTimeMama · 07/09/2020 09:25

To everyone that was looking at getting an Oodie, I just had a surprise delivery and my husband has bought me one! It's wonderful, but it did come with Oodie all over the packaging, so just beware of who might see it!

1stTimeMama · 07/09/2020 09:32

Also, does anyone have a discount code for Alex and Alexa at all please? I've got 4 sets of matching Christmas PJ'S in my basket, but would love a bit of money off.

TheSeedsOfADream · 07/09/2020 09:37

Lisa Angel stuff we all bought was from Sale, others may remember better than me but I'm sure I've never Lisa Angel'd in August before, and only ever buy clearance so I'm guessing they do another one pre-Christmas.

If anyone is interested in beauty advent calendars the Look Fantastic is out, £85 but with £400 of stuff in it. If you subscribe to the beauty boxes you should have an email offering a further £15 off it. I haven't received my offer but have messaged then as apparently lots of people haven't received theirs. It will be sold out within days.

Re:sheepskin slippers etc. Last year (from this thread obvs ) I got me, DD and my Mum Celtic & Co ones. They weren't bargainous though there was a code, but they are absolutely the best and warmest slippers I have ever had. If I add up how many pairs of Matalan/Marks fluffy slippers I get through, and look at these which seem brand new then they've paid for themselves.

Photo coasters arrived today, they are fab and my dps will love them. Will definitely be happy to order from them again.

sorryiasked · 07/09/2020 10:40

spicers hampers 25% discount with code MERRY25 if you order before 16th October.
Never used them so can't vouch for them personally but reviews all good.

KillZill · 07/09/2020 10:50

Just for anyone waiting, I've had an email from Dunedin for the scarves with tracking details so fingers crossed!

JPduck · 07/09/2020 10:53

Anyone seen deals on Lego dots please?

Cherryrainbow · 07/09/2020 10:57

I think there was lego dot deals in argos. Annoyed with my local one cos they just don't have anything in stock in store or delivery Angry

EvilHerbivore · 07/09/2020 11:05

Is anyone looking for an adult calendars this year? Want for me, not into beauty so looking for a food/drink one, saw a cake advert calendar on noths which would have been lovely but I think it's last years as it's out of stock

Onlyahalfbottle · 07/09/2020 11:14

@CactusForever thanks for the books suggestion I've just ordered them and got money for DS's nursery too!

DustyLoafer · 07/09/2020 11:26

Has anybody had a despatch email from Molton Brown?

I ordered 3 sets in the 40% off sale on the 28th. But no sign of anything yet.

TenCornMaidens · 07/09/2020 11:38

Got my Ciate bundle and Qwertee orders this morning. Slightly disappointed by the Ciate box but I think I am probably being uneasonable - had got myself expecting a huge parcel when obviously that was never going to be the case. But there is no way I would pay original price.

DaisyChops · 07/09/2020 12:02

@DustyLoafer I also ordered from molton brown on 28th and my order arrived on 31st August via DPD

DaisyChops · 07/09/2020 12:04

@DustyLoafer I got the despatch email on the day it arrived if that's any help

Isadora2007 · 07/09/2020 12:10

Has anywhere got nice Xmas wrapping in store? Or quick delivery? Got visitors staying this week who could take My Xmas gifts for the in laws back with them this saving me postage... but I’d need to wrap before Saturday.

LostMyRubySlippers · 07/09/2020 12:11

Just to say that we have a similar sweet shop toy to the amazon one up thread but from Argos. Just had a check & its £10 but also included in their 2 for £15 if this helps anyone

InDreamland · 07/09/2020 12:12

@Isadora2007 cox and cox have gorgeous Christmas gift wrap and can do next day delivery.

SparkleSW · 07/09/2020 12:12

Isadora - Home Bargains had gift wrap and bags out last week.

thelegohooverer · 07/09/2020 12:37

@TheSeedsOfADream if you put the look fantastic advent calendar in your basket and subscribe to the beauty box, and then use the code ADVENTNEWSUB or possibly ADVENTNEWSUBS (forgetful) that should knock £15 off.

ZeldaSmelda · 07/09/2020 12:48

Just had to nip into tesco and got some bargains when I was in there. From the kids aisle:
-ball pit and 100 balls (£3 each down from £6 each)
-bubble wand 43p

  • 1 litre of bubble liquid 50p
-toad stool bubble machine £2.50 down from £10 -2x blaster water guns £1.80 each

Plus I got 2 metal water bottles for £3 each down from a £10 and I got a LED table lamp with built in Bluetooth speaker and wireless charger for £6 down from £30

PinkDaydreams · 07/09/2020 12:52

@ZeldaSmelda I’ve been on the lookout in my local home bargains, b&m, sainsburys and asda for reduced garden stuff but nothing’s reduced yet! I was in asda this morning and forgot to look 😩 I have no tesco nearby so I’m very jealous!!

WhereIsThisGoing · 07/09/2020 12:54

Groupon has some decent toys offers at the moment. Very cheap water doodle mats (cheapest is 4.99 + delivery) and some nice Lelin wooden toys (though check against Amazon, some of these are better bargains than others).
