Thanks @sorryiasked for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

I've bought a massive reindeer for the front garden from Cox and Cox that was not remotely bargainous...

Maxabella2 · 06/09/2020 19:56

Does anyone know an app that you link on an iPhone like camel camel camel ,that alerts you re price drops?

gaggiagirl · 06/09/2020 20:03

Thank you woodwaj I'll check them out now.

NoWordForFluffy · 06/09/2020 20:23

Do you have a link for these please?
My raynauds toes need new slippers this winter, my sheepskin ones have fallen apart after 3 years.

I need it for the same reason. I've already had chilblains this 'summer'! 😱 And as I'm permanently WFH now, I need to keep my toes toasty!

woodwaj · 06/09/2020 20:24

Ive got a barbie reveal added to my Xmas list. Has anyone seen one under £20? They are on back order on amazon so debating whether to just get one!

wibdib · 06/09/2020 20:29

@@polkadotpjs if you’re looking for bargainous dressing growns, last year I got a lovely dressing gown for ds (small mans) from Sainsbury’s - they had several different styles, some were lovely, others to be avoided but ds has loved his and worn it loads, has washed well. Looks great, has micro fine velvety plush on the outside, thick Sherpa fleece on the inside. Very snuggly and cuddly.

Was bargainous - was about £23 to start, got during 25% off week and when they had their nectar points double up... so effectively free but less than £20 if I’d paid money for it...

Worth checking out if you go to a Sainsbury’s regularly.

lotsofthingstolearn · 06/09/2020 20:33

No bargain etc but to add about Hoverboards- we got this for our 6 (very nearly 7 year old last year) without question the best thing we’ve spent our money on. He still talks about it now and gleeful shows it anyone who comes to the house

He’s been on it nearly every day- we bought the cart also and he chops and changes between the two. Bought from amazon as pole that helps balance at first - he used it for a day before he got the hang of it.

Would recommend from think we got from Hoverboards.co.uk and was circa £230 for everything.

lotsofthingstolearn · 06/09/2020 20:36

Sorry for elementary errors- am on my phone but hopefully the gist is understood

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 06/09/2020 20:53

gaggiagirl kukubird are doing kids leggings soon according to the Facebook fanclub. But at the moment I buy my 7-8 daughter from primark, h&m, sainsburys and not see through at all (except white!)

Ehunt1 · 06/09/2020 21:12

@woodwaj barbie colour reveal are £16.99 in home bargains and b&m.

IggyAce · 06/09/2020 21:12

My lovely dcs have supplied me with Christmas lists, so I will definitely be done by the end of October. Just need to go thru and see what I can hand off to family. Some stuff I have already brought.

icedaisy · 06/09/2020 21:16

Agree @wibdib I treated myself to a sainsburys one in January and it is still like new. Lovely and soft.

woodwaj · 06/09/2020 21:16

Ooh thank you @Ehunt1i will take a look this week!

Chocolateteabag · 06/09/2020 22:02

@polkadotpjs - as @TenCornMaidens said - Savile Row have some men's dressing gowns in their sale for £20 - but use topcashback for another 16% cash back!! They also have cotton lounge pants in the sale too

whoknows2 · 06/09/2020 22:15

A lovely Julia Donaldson book bundle is on eBay for £22 but there is a £4.50 off voucher, making it a good little bargain gift!

This sparkle play doh looks like a good deal at £4.99. They are out of stock at the moment but they let me order so hopefully it will be delivered. Sorry for the long link, I can’t work out how to do them

Givealittlebit · 06/09/2020 23:51

Thanks for Julia Donaldson set! Will be perfect for the 3 year old

Friedbanana · 07/09/2020 00:42

I know it was a bit earlier in the thread but was wondering what was everyone ordering from Lisa angel? Was it a sale or just nice stuff? Saw a bag not particularly bargainous but might buy it anyway!

Clarabella72 · 07/09/2020 07:34

@ whoknows2 if you have a Costco nearby this same bundle is £9.99 but doesn’t have the lovely cloth bag it’s in cellophane

They also had a set of that’s not my books for under £10 and quite a few others too that seemed very good deals

Clarabella72 · 07/09/2020 07:36

Costco also sell their books online too, not sure if you can buy without being a member but worth a try

superstar84 · 07/09/2020 07:47

Thanks for the sparkle playdoh link, I've ordered it for DD

Amazon also have a casdon sweet shop for £8 which I think would make a lovely gift with a few bags of pick n mix and some sweet shop paper bags popped in the box. Says 4 weeks for delivery, it's in stock in smyths but £4 postage unless spending £19

superstar84 · 07/09/2020 07:48

We were struggling for ideas for DS6 too this year. He’s not that bothered by toys. I think we’re going to get a scalectrix, an attachment for his ride on tractor and maybe some new wheels for that or his BMX. He loves to dress in the clothes of the sport he’s doing so I think we’ll get him a football kit and a mountain bike and road bike outfit. Just in case that helps anyone. Will watch for any other ideas to add to his list.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 07/09/2020 07:58

Thanks @superstar84 just bought the sweet shop.
