Thanks @sorryiasked for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Thanks @Chocolateteabag I will check those out.

AutumnLeavesSeptember · 05/09/2020 15:28

Thanks so much for the Cox and Cox referral recommendation. I wanted this particular wreath from there but couldn't justify the cost as money is right. Sooo delighted to get it just for shipping!!

runningpink · 05/09/2020 15:34

If you search for ‘Christmas’ on the Dunelm website they have 10 pages of stuff at the moment.
Seen a couple of things but i’m going to hold off for now as I’m sure they usually have 3 for 2 type offers.

Adelais · 05/09/2020 15:57

My Lisa angel order finally arrived! Everything is lovely, wish I’d ordered more now. Only slight disappointment was that there was a note saying one thing was out of stock but it was only a stocking filler for dd so can live without it.

Mayflower400 · 05/09/2020 16:13

I tried to link but I am crap!
Farmologie try me set at boots for half price. It’s lovely and great for teacher gifts.

MissRabbitIsExhausted · 05/09/2020 16:20

My second Lisa Angel order came today too & I also wish I had ordered more. So pleased with everything in it!

LazyDaisy10 · 05/09/2020 16:20

@runningpink yes that's the one I got. There are some by klutz like this one which have good reviews but thought I'd try a basic kit first.

Was there an extra offer on the Hype lucky dip boxes?

I've just had a look and they're £99.99, but you can get another 25% off if you sign for emails & do the spin wheel on the website.

Debating whether it's worth 75?

Duckyneedsaclean · 05/09/2020 16:29

The code for an extra 25% off at hype is BCDUEWF36 (may be single use) Lucky dips here

thelegohooverer · 05/09/2020 17:08

Has anyone shopped directly from the Sanctuary Spa site uk.sanctuary.com? I love their hot sugar scrub so I was browsing but they have an annoyingly glitchy site and it’s putting me off. They offer “two free gifts” (I’m thinking useful for crackers and stockings) with some products but no mention of what they are, and nothing to indicate them in the shopping basket. There’s a 15% off code for signing up that doesn’t work. It told me to spend £5.40 more to get this shipping rate, then £x to qualify for a free gift, then I added something else to the basket and my gift disappeared but it now offers me 10% off on my first order. It’s making me nervous and trust advisor reviews are mostly from people who don’t like the smell (which is fair enough but I do). Can anyone recommend the site, or maybe issue a blood curling warning?

Gosh this thread moves so fast. Off to look at the referral thread for C&C. Thank you!

SpnBaby1967 · 05/09/2020 18:23

Any recommendations for a site that does decent novelty bath bombs suitable for my kids? I got DD Harry Potter ones for her birthday earlier this year and they were a hit with all the kids

Duckyneedsaclean · 05/09/2020 18:30

@SpnBaby1967 Boots have joules dinosaur egg or magic wand bath bombs in the 3 for 2. They come in a 3 pack for £5.

They also have upcoming stock showing harry potter ones.

Thenagainmaybenot · 05/09/2020 18:32

Does anyone have any recommendations for decent but not too expensive bedclothes? DH and I could do with a new set and could get it for each other for Christmas. Not s Christmas set, just ordinary.

I got mine last week for £54
JinglesWish · 05/09/2020 18:52

@SpnBaby1967 Was just about to recommend the Boots HP bath bombs, same as @Duckyneedsaclean

Not in stock yet, but they’ve got some lovely items “coming soon”.

Also, Sainsbury’s had quite a few Harry Potter stocking fillers on sale earlier today

Excited to join in, feeling way behind if we're on thread 4 already! Getting involved with Cox and Cox offer, just deciding which lovely Christmas item to invest in!

Looking for offers on kindles. My daughter has asked for one, just want one for reading without any of the bells and whistles of watching films or playing games. Any idea if the kids or adults one is better? she's 10 and reads 2-3 books a week!

Spam88 · 05/09/2020 19:24

@littlelightshining if it's just for reading then you want an actual kindle, not a kindle fire - it's a different type of screen which is much kinder on the eyes. I'm not familiar with the current models but would say that the lit screen is really useful (possibly included on the cheapest one these days..?) and I wouldn't bother getting 4g.

Spam88 · 05/09/2020 19:32

Ah sorry I assumed you meant the kids kindle fire, didn't realise they did a kids kindle now as well! It's the same as the basic kindle so I guess depends on whether you think it's worth £30 for the two year guarantee, case and extra months of access to kindle unlimited? Doesn't seem bad for £30 more tbh... Might be worth finding out whether there are restrictions built into the kids one that might be annoying for her though.

Smileatthesmallthings · 05/09/2020 19:32

@littlelightshining If it's just for reading you want a kindle paperwhite I think. That's what we have and it's used everyday and is one of the best things I've bought.

JinglesWish · 05/09/2020 19:38

When is the Boots lots of Advantage points offer? Does it tend to be at a certain time of year?

So many lovely things in their Christmas 3for2 offer

CottonHeadedNinnyMug · 05/09/2020 19:46

@thenagainmaybenot We like the double packs from next, feel nice and wash well!

ILoveGroot · 05/09/2020 20:01

Brand Alley have a Christmas section now, some good deals on decorations, particularly Gisella Graham stuff.
