I do have heard about Sainsburys not doing the October toy sale but still hoping that they’ll do the double up nectar points too. I might even go to the supermarket for the first time since February for the double up event!

At least 7 as Robert was bought when dd2 was 9 I think and she’s 16 this year. It had been going for a couple before then too.

My weighted blankets arrived today and they are lovely. The beads are sewn into little pockets so they won't all pool at one end of the blanket.

Nipped to Starbucks today and they have an offer on where you buy a bag of beans and get any drink free. Apparently it runs every 4th Friday of the month. I was buying 2 large drinks so basically got 2 bags of coffee beans for my dads stocking for 20p each

My flavourly beer box arrived today. Very quick delivery and the beers are dated June and August 2021 so perfect to use as an advent calendar for DH. Off to find some bags and labels to wrap each one now as PP suggested...

It's the vtech toot toot pirate ship I posted yesterday, down to £17.99, but it was Amazon, and is back up to £38 now.

IIRC, your DS is about 3 or 4 isn't he? DS is 5 and the toot toot stuff has been too young for him for a while. DN is nearly 3, and it's a bit too young for him, but he's used to playing with his big cousin's toys - I'd say 1-3 would be the perfect age.

Thanks for the peer pressure - will definitely try to go, just need to persuade DH that he’s happy to drive me there and wrangle the kids while I’m inside (still 3 weeks left until I can drive!).

Word of caution to anybody using the Thornton’s sale - I got mine today and it’s a mixed bag with the expiry dates. Some are March 2021 but there is a big box of toffee with an end of September 2020 date.

Sounds like a challenge to my pregnant self! 😂
