Thank you @nickdrakeslovechild for thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

£5 off of £25 spend at ELC with code 5OFF25, don't think it's account specific! 😊

livingthegoodlife · 28/08/2020 10:20

Has anyone else had their geek store Star Wars candles arrive yet? Mine came this morning. Nicely boxed but they stink. Horrific. The one called Trash Compactor is disgusting. Possibly trash flavoured 🤮 to the bin I think. Not gift worthy...

TimerousBeastie · 28/08/2020 10:20

I mused over getting the Star Wars candles for DSIL - glad I didn't now

IggyAce · 28/08/2020 10:30

Aug50 gets you 50% off a 3 month Birchbox subscription. Could be useful to split for stockings/beauty hampers.

Tigger83 · 28/08/2020 10:37

£5 off £25 spend at elc with code 5off25

Ewock · 28/08/2020 10:50

For advent calendars I bought the wooden house one from Hobbycraft a couple of years ago. And I fill it with a chocolate for each day, I get the chocolates from Aldi they do tubs of Father Christmas or Snowman chocolates which I think are about £1.99 and have 25 in.

Cherryrainbow · 28/08/2020 10:52

Just bought dd an LOL OMG for £21.99 from Argos, only one was that low, others around £25 mark but those not in stock near me.

Only problem now is she asked for one along with the £200 house Confused

LetsPlayBamboozled · 28/08/2020 10:58

And clearly I need to get down to B&M too!

LetsPlayBamboozled · 28/08/2020 10:59

Home Bargains, rather. Doh!

FireflyGirl · 28/08/2020 11:11

My bargain pirate ship arrived today - it's pretty big! (It's in an amazon box to stop DS's prying eyes, but the actual box fills it!)

Hmm I am down to just DHs stocking fillers but am thinking of stepping away from the thread as I am now in danger of seeing things cheaper than I have brought or buying more Hmm aargh

Hophop26 · 28/08/2020 11:36

@TimerousBeastie thanks I love those bands and that’s better than the usual 4 for 3

Ehunt1 · 28/08/2020 11:55

@TimerousBeastie thanks for the Hygge bands code. I’d never seen these before but I’ve now ticked off 3 gifts and a stocking filler for my daughter. I might have added 1 for myself too.😀

InDreamland · 28/08/2020 12:35

My Lisa Angel order has arrived. I love everything in it! So many gifts/stocking fillers ticked off for family - my sister and dad will love the mugs and sis will also love the scarf. Think my mum will love the big oversized scarf too. DH's gift from DD is done (she's only 6 months old now so down to me to sort). The ceramic baubles are lovely for 60p each. Great to have something new for my tree this year although I hope they're not too heavy.

covidmonkey · 28/08/2020 12:38

@Adelais Thanks for the tangle teaser hint! We forgot dd's teaser to summer cottage this year.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 28/08/2020 12:51

Gutted I missed the bargain barbie plane. I'll need to set a CCC alert on it

Did manage to get the Lego hospital tho

nickdrakeslovechild · 28/08/2020 12:52

Thanks @Reastie, never made a thread title before, I think I have been here since the beginning of the threads - is this year 8, 9 or 10? Still no idea what to do with the bloody thing, I might still gift it but as a joke present rather than the main thing.

newnamewhosthis · 28/08/2020 13:05

My mum wants a white Mrs Hinch inspired bath tray. Looking for a good quality one at a decent price if anybody has any recommendations?

PinkDaydreams · 28/08/2020 13:13

@newnamewhosthis I recently saw someone walking to their car with one, it was from either b&m or homebargains.

Doyouknowthisisnotmyname · 28/08/2020 13:15

Newnamewhosthis
Next had some bath trays . A lovely slate one with I pad holder . Tea light and wine glass holder for £30 . I think they had wooden ones as well . Also b and m .

ClaraLane · 28/08/2020 13:17

Lisa Angel have a sample/clearance sale about 2 miles away from me in a fortnight. I think I need to go don’t I?

Someaddedsugar · 28/08/2020 13:26

@ClaraLane yes you definitely do!!
