I agree, Wreck. I'm not heading to a packed beach anytime soon. We have booked to go to Martin Mere next weekend as it's reopening on 10 June. The kids have been badgering you go and we're members, so I decided to get straight in there! We're possibly going to Dunham Massey on 21 June too, if I can get tickets. Again, we're members, so it's nice to be able to use it.

We'll be socially distancing at those places though!

I think it's getting easier to get deliveries. We're getting weekly Sainsbury's ones now I've learned the knack of when they release them!

The Ice Age films are great. We have the set!

Dry, sunny and breezy here today. Hoping to finally make use of the 5 mile rule when DH finishes work and have a nice walk. On my Facebook memories today Mrs it was our first walk at Goldcliff!

Love the coo fluffy!

We have been following the rules, it is hard when you see so many not doing so though!

pussycatinboots · 05/06/2020 09:02

Other than going for a walk or visiting Morrisons for food, we've not been/done anything and we don't intend to for a while yet.
I won't be first in the queue for a shopping centre, much as I'd love to have M&S and Cheshire Oaks to myself Grin

pussycatinboots · 05/06/2020 09:07

Oh, and DHs Hospital trips and Charlie at the vet...ok, maybe we've done more than I thought...Blush

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 05/06/2020 09:57

My elephant cross stitch has been dispatched, am so excited to get going with it!

BiddyPop · 05/06/2020 10:41

Busy day today with lots of small jobs to get done. Both workwise and non-workwise. Back to sunshine here and a few scutty and very high, fast moving clouds so I don't think there's too much fear of rain. I need to sort the fridge later, when the weekly food order comes (I managed to reduce it yesterday evening before the cut off time, as I had got quite a bit in M&S), and manged to get a slot for the next 2 Fridays as well. Waiting for announcements later today on what the next phase of reopening will include - sounds like there will be more reopening than expected but still not as much as the UK. I want to do some more sewing tomorrow, DMIL got her masks and was thrilled, but I still have a load of fabric in the stash to go through including a plan for another fabric basket for DD's dressing table (this one in colours to match the new décor).

NoWordForFluffy · 05/06/2020 10:53

We've gone sunny now and the forecast has dropped to below 50% chance of rain for a bit. Long enough to dry the washing at least!

I could do with masks. It would be handy you be able to sew (as in make things; I can do buttons and repairs) right now!

I've got all of my cross stitches now, Most. The allotment one is on pre-order on Very Crafty by the way. Use WELCOME20 for a 10% discount.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 05/06/2020 11:28

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 05/06/2020 11:29

Actually I love them both! Can't wait for next pay day :)

NoWordForFluffy · 05/06/2020 13:39

They're lovely, Boots. But I really, really don't need anymore! I must have at least a dozen lined up already. 🙈😂

Afternoon everyone Smile
Been to Aldi's to do some much needed stocking up on cat food biscuits (popadoms/bubble bath/pkt Mexican rice/crisps/bikkies/fruit/washing powder) which we use for the hedgies and the birds , we soak them first so they are soft not too hard on their teeth Smile and it gives them some fluids too.
Cut some flowers from Mum's garden to take up to Bob's for her to cheer her up. She and him had a terrible row last night & she wanted to come home. The problem being Mum is so deaf she can't hear what he says and she misconstrues what he says to her and then she is cross and then she is nasty to him then he is cross it's like a hamster wheel. I went there today and all was well Hmm bloody typical !

Mrsmadevans · 05/06/2020 14:56

Beautiful peonies in Bob's grate 😀
Mum and Bob friends again 🙄🤪😀

Fluffy you can say that again 🤪🙄😂
I now write a shopping note out so l am not in the store for longer than necessary . I miss browsing very much especially the middle aisles of gold tat but it's best to get in and out asap.

WreckTangled · 05/06/2020 19:08

I'm really missing Aldi! Have the prices gone up there like they have at Tesco?

I've eaten so much today I could burst but I'm probably going to still eat more. I'm in a really greedy mood Grin

pussycatinboots · 05/06/2020 19:14

Fluffy my poor credit card! I only went on Very for a look, and ordered 4 blummin kits! with another 4 or 5 to think about 🤣🤦‍♀️
Mrs How is Poor Bob today? Can you buy him some earplugs so he can't hear her moaning at him?

Mrsmadevans · 05/06/2020 19:40

Wreck afaik Aldi's are very similar prices. I noticed Tesco's have really ramped the prices up but l will look at my receipt and show you if l can.
*Boot' l am sorely tempted to buy him some Grin
He's a darling man , very kind bit like a big kid joking and happy all the time . I think he is used to it though. I think his wife was very like Mum , she even had the same name Barbara!

Mrsmadevans · 05/06/2020 20:02

Receipts a month apart Wreck l can't see anything gone up tbh. Perhaps a couple of pence on Ham .

I don't think Aldi prices have gone up much. Gala apples have but always do at this time of year. Otherwise, I'm not sure they have.

Mrsmadevans · 05/06/2020 23:16

The reindeer is my fave too.
Then the Intruder l think Grin
