Whoop! Into the 100s tomorrow (well, if I've counted right!).

That cross stitch is taking forever, Most. Where is it coming from?!

Dry today and warm enough but not hot. I didn't get to the allotment this morning but DH is fetching bags of weeds so I've instructed him on a little watering!

The UK fluffy but our post is seriously messed up. Someone on our development yesterday received a birthday card sent by her Nan on the 12th May first class!

BiddyPop · 09/06/2020 10:39

Scouts meeting last night to agree back to action protocols, so I have some writing to do later today on that. And followed by a trip to the large supermarket on the way home, in the quieter hours, so while I spent a lot, I had a couple of vouchers to use and have got enough to restock most of the gaps in my supplies. And plenty of the foods DD wants these days (they have a large health foods section).

Most of today will be writing for work stuff....but progress in baby steps on both projects. Cool, dull day, but clouds are too high for a chance of rain.

WreckTangled · 09/06/2020 16:58

Have I shown you this house nearish to me that I'm going to buy? You can all come and stay once I'm settled in Grin

NerosFiddle · 09/06/2020 17:02

Wreck I don't know, it's a bit understated Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 09/06/2020 17:09

PoA? If you have to ask the price you can't afford it! 😂😂

Been to see to Mum, it would have been Dad's 90th birthday & she wanted me to put a notice in the local rag , l could not get hold of them they were all at home or on furlough. So l put a lovely pic on her FB & a lovely message from her as if she had said it . She was very happy with it thankfully, & her friends all commented bless them
l wasn't looking forward to going up there today but she was fine Smile

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 09/06/2020 17:55

You are always so busy Biddy!

I will definitely move into that with you wreck, would love a swimming pool.

Glad you had a good day Mrs, still no cross stitch 😭

TheWoollybacksWife · 09/06/2020 17:59

Biddy I hope you get your scan soon. I'm waiting for an appointment for an MRI now too.

Lovely bit of property porn there Wreck I've found a £1m house in a local village that I love. DH thinks it's too big for us but I can easily spread my guff out to fill the available space 🤣

Love the cross stitch Fluffy. DD1 is doing a Harry Potter one for my niece to go in the nursery for her new baby.

BiddyPop · 09/06/2020 18:10

OOoh Wreck looks fab!! I'd love to share the pool, can happily camp on the lawn to leave more space for others indoors, and we can all have lovely (festive and non-festive alike!) parties on that deck!!

WreckTangled · 09/06/2020 18:56

There's room for everyone in the house! I'll get the professionals in to decorate for Christmas.

Mrs pleased your mum liked the fb post

NoWordForFluffy · 09/06/2020 23:28

I think we need to invest in a group MRI scanner before a MAHOOSIVE house!

Can't we all just decorate for Christmas ourselves though?! That's most of the fun as long as my family don't join in!

The cross stitch is coming on nicely. It's not too bad to do (and I'm saving the small fiddly bits til the end!).

Not for the doorway and hallway fluffy. And the driveway too. Obviously there would be a tree in each room so some would be done professionally for the parties and others done by us.

I'm in the office today. Both dc are being grumpy already.

Morning!

My kids aren't up yet, Wreck, so I've not been subjected to grumping. Yet! DS is the main grumper!

We've had some rain overnight with loads more forecast. Hopefully the butts will fill now!

I've ordered workbooks for the kids now they're not back at school til Sept. The online stuff just doesn't cut it long term. I can't see them being able to have SATs next year either as they won't be up to speed. Shame. I also think they'll go back to their old years for about 2 weeks and new starters will start later to give them a recap session. It'll be odd.

Awww my DH is fab. I was getting so upset that my cross stitch hadn't arrived so last night without telling me he ordered one from Amazon and it arrives today!

NoWordForFluffy · 10/06/2020 08:11

Which one did he get?

OP posts:
Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 10/06/2020 08:14

This one fluffy, it looks nice a simple which is what I was saying yesterday was what I really needed to help me relax as my head is still a bit all over the place. The Victorian House one I have is just too complicated for me at the moment.

NoWordForFluffy · 10/06/2020 08:54

That's adorable!

And you're right; complex isn't good when your head isn't in the right place.

Good morning. I love that house, I could go for living there. Not sure where the money would come from but hey a minor detail.

Lovely cross stitches. I have not got the mind space for them these days, I have only ever completed one and it was in the days my mum had a dog and she ate it one day when I was looking after her for some reason.

Had quite a shift last night. A really poorly guy turned up and was trying to jump in front of the traffic. I am there trying to socially distance and save him poor chap.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 10/06/2020 11:00

I don't know what has come over DH, yesterday he told me there were only 20 Fridays until Christmas! He likes Christmas but never normally counts down to it!

Amazing work why saving that man! Star

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 10/06/2020 17:35

We are quiet today! Hope everyone is ok :) My cross stitch left Cardiff almost an hour ago so am eagerly awaiting it :)

NoWordForFluffy · 10/06/2020 17:42

Most, lockdown must be getting to your DH! He's obviously looking forward to Christmas! Xmas Grin

Come on, cross stitch! I take it elephant hasn't appeared yet?!
