Morning. Welcome to our new thread.

We maybe have rain today. I really hope we do! I have no ides when we last had it.

I'm baking with the kids today plus potting some plants on. Exciting. No idea where they'll go, mind you!

Only 2 days left of furlough. Yaaay for the financial side and booooo otherwise! 😂

Because I'm digging tomorrow instead! It's warmer tomorrow and the kids are coming too, so it makes sense to do it when it's more pleasant!

Ah, ok - just thought I'd missed a day or worse, gained one!

This lockdown bollocks is playing havoc with what day of the week it is!

We have to apply for the free school transport boots which I did this morning. I'm not aware of people being turned down for the free one, only the paid one. The free one applies if it is your catchment school but more than 2 miles away which applies to the school DS is going to. If he doesn't get it then we will have to work out a system but it will be a lot more complex involving taxis etc.

Had an incredibly productive day in the garden and have put my first things in my Vegtrug! Red cabbages are in and have sown parsnips, carrots and radishes :)

most it would be a pita if he doesn't then. Impressive vegtrug! My carrots are starting to get proper leaves, but my poor spuds are not doing anything again seriously, if these don't grow I give up! DH is still banned from using the hose

Boots I literally have no clue what day I am on and I am still going to work, I just know the gaps between shifts. At least if there is some sort of carrot led emergency I can be on that in seconds!!! 😂

Went to do the polishing only to find DH has taken the polish to work. Why?! made do with antibac and the duster. Have completely blitzed the kitchen even did the tiles and have now cleaned and hoovered the sitting room including all the sofa cushions. Just waiting for the food shopping to arrive now.

It's sunny here but meant to be cloudy tomorrow and then not great until Wednesday when it looks to be lovely for a few days 😎

Mrs, my shoulder is feeling better now I'm taking drugs again, thank you. It's because the ground was so hard and compacted when I was clearing plot 2. Digging the ground on plot 1, which is lovely and soft, is easy / not painful.

I'll find out once he's home and has cleaned up the car sick I missed

They've finished making a mess in the kitchen so he cleaned it. He never leaves a job messy 😅

My DH is also a clean builder. They're a rare breed!

Has anyone been reading the supermarket substitution thread? I always read the ones at Christmas. I don't know what goes through some of the pickers minds at times. Unless it's the computer that automatically makes the subs.

I think it was more things like the surfaces after he had hoovered etc. Not sure. There's no one living there at the moment and I haven't seen it so not entirely sure what he did all he said was it was really dusty.

Neros (my phone just changed that to jerks ) we've done our family quiz already. The dc join in so needs to be done earlier which is good for me.

Morning!

Allotment day today. All of us, which is going to be fun (though I'll go earlier and DH will bring the kids later on)!

I'm struggling to wake up now I'm taking amitriptyline again. But at least I'm sleeping better!

I took amitriptyline once fluffy and gosh the next day I could barely stay awake! Enjoy the allotment :)

Plan here is to clean the house again this morning and then just relax this afternoon. Will do a bit more gardening and more cross stitch.

I need to go to Tesco for the bits missing from my order. Going to attempt to get in early for the nhs hour. Then I'm going to collect our masks. I'm hoping once they ease restrictions we can go and see my mum and will wear masks so we don't risk giving anything to her.

Day one of the diet today. I've put on so much weight I must rein it in.
