Afternoon.

Here we go again! It feels slightly bonkers setting off again before today is over, but it's tradition, so who am I to argue?!

We'd need 5 loos to have more than people. That's a fair number of toilets to clean! 😂

And yes. It's 'Ooh, there's something more interesting going on than this necessary bodily function I'm halfway through!' He's 5, I'll excuse it for now because of that (while telling him off)! He'll get over it.

Lovely sky this morning

I went backwards this morning on my way to work, and got a beautiful sunrise over Killiney Bay (renowned as “the Northern Sorrento”) as the sun came over a little lip of cloud on the horizon. (And then I got a seat when going forwards as that’s only 3rd station on the line - my starting station is 5 stations further on so barely even standing room).

I’ve been brave this morning and bought a copy of “Kitchen Garden “ for the 1st time in about 4 years. To rekindle my planning brain for spring.

Do you have a large garden, Biddy? What kind of things will you grow?

I didn't see sunrise as it was hidden by the buildings in the city. Now we're not at the dock I don't get the same view!

Good afternoon lovelies. It’s around 6 degrees here but it feels much much nippier. I had the LO’s wrapped up this morning for the school run, they couldn’t move between their jumpers and cardi’s and coats😂.

God, fluffy I’m sorry to hear about trolls on here. I’m sorry that I can’t give you my old username but there’s a lot of info on that username that I don’t want to follow me on this one, but if you can think of anything else that can help me prove I’m not a troll (I definitely don’t have that much free time to want to be a troll ) then give me a shout.

wreck DS1 leaves wee on the toilet all the time. DH got the blame for a while because I was adamant I couldn’t raise a boy who would wee on the seat . DS2 is still in nappies but I’m crossing everything that he’s not as bad as his brother.

I couldn’t clean 4 bathrooms flouncy, we just have 1 and a small en suite and I struggle to be motivated enough to clean them😂.

Fluffy we have been so tormented here by Trolls it is no wonder we are on high alert m'dear. Quite what motivates them is anyones guess!

Mumba they are pretending to be Mums of many children , they all have strange old fashioned names and they live in 2 UP 2 down despite having many DC . They have amazing jobs so do their DH and they are very young and had their DC very young too. They own their own homes and they have never been on MN before coming to our thread because of course we are right in the public view. I mean why on earth would someone new to MN pick us when they would have to go through the whole site to find us FGS

Thanks for the info ladies, I can assure you that I don’t fit the troll bill. I have 3 DC (I don’t think that’s lots), very very common names, we live in a Victorian terraced but have lots of space, I’m a SAHM and DH has a very mundane job (we’re comfortable but we aren’t rolling in it), we had the DC in our early to mid 20’s so not really young and I’m not a single mum. I hope that can put you at ease a bit😊. Why on Earth they would troll this lovely thread is beyond my comprehension, I love that it’s still going now and it always felt like a warm hug when I was on it, I hate to think that people are abusing it.

Anywho, I am absolutely freezing here. It’s 4 degrees but my oh my does it feel colder. I usually only have showers but I’m having a bath tonight to warm my bones up. I’m out all day tomorrow too so I’m hoping it will warm up, I’ve let myself slip since Christmas and have a lot of things I need to get sorted tomorrow.

Dd is refusing to go swimming. Won't get ready and says she's not going. I said if she's not swimming then I'm cancelling her lessons and she still has to come with us and tell her teacher why she's not doing it because I still have to pay

Is there a reasons she doesn’t want to go wreck?

Oh bloody hell, Wreck. They don't half try it on, don't they? I hope she changes her mind (maybe having to go anyway will focus her mind!).

Wreck that is a very good way of dealing with this sort of thing. I do wonder though if she is still feeling under the weather from last week and can't explain how she feels to you properly m'dear deep breath and smile through gritted teeth & off to swimming m'dear well done .
