Thank you @luckiestgirl for the title which came from her post which I’ve copied below

‘I twitched on the moles.
And the Clinique
And at body shop (30% off)
And at love honey (I got £20 off)
And I’ve somehow bought an 8 foot Christmas tree.
And lights
And a TV.
And a fitness tracker.
And stocking fillers for the kids.

Oh god, stop me now please‘

I just twitched and spent £60 at hype on the dd’s, trying to tell my self “they do need clothes” so would have had to of spent it anyway 🤔

I need to stop twitching. I have spent way too much.

tisonlymeagain · 05/12/2019 10:28

@PoopaPoopa Yes, Fitbit do a kids version, it's called the Ace. It doesn't have the same functionality though. We have the Charge (Adult) and it came with a large and a small strap. My SS has had his since he was 8 and it fits fine.

Mistressiggi · 05/12/2019 10:33

Good news is, hamper company have dispatched my hamper. Bad news is, they are using DPD so will probably take another month Grin

whatwillicallmyself · 05/12/2019 10:37

I have to say I love all the chatter and ideas too, I have bought things I never knew existed because of this thread, you get fantastic bargains in the UK we dont get half of them over her in Ireland so to be honest its not really the bargains but the chit chat and ideas that I love. Even if I'm not looking for it I like reading them and the great buzz of everyone helping eachother, I've basically finished my shopping but I still read every day just for the feel good factor.

@Justonedayatatime11

Thanks for the info re pickyomix. Just grabbed some stocking fillers. There's 20% off with code ELF too.

Poutintrout · 05/12/2019 10:56

I've been loving these threads, thank you. I'm still catching up with the previous one and saw the comments about disappointing photo calendars. I wanted to say that I just received mine from Bonusprint, bought with 60% off on Black Friday, and it is awesome. It looks and feels so professional. The photos are crisp and bright and the quality of the paper is brilliant, thick and glossy even though I just chose the standard finish. Well worth the money.

PinkDaydreams · 05/12/2019 11:00

@Poutintrout it was me moaning about the photo calendar and mugs received from Truprint and the awful customer service! Thank you for recommending Bonusprint, I’ve not heard of those.

Grafittiqueen · 05/12/2019 11:14

@MyEnormousTurnip I was just thinking about the Elemis handwash from last year! Gutted they're not doing such a good deal this year as need something similar for DD's teacher.

Poutintrout · 05/12/2019 11:20

pinkdays It's so disappointing when these things are rubbish. I got some blurry mugs from Funky Pigeon, fortunately they refunded me. I just looked & the calendars are 50% off at the moment.

andi76 · 05/12/2019 11:23

I've bought photo calendars from Snapfish for several years - always been pleased. Only when they have 50% off though lol.
Mugs & tree decs also good from there.

Ibelieveinyou · 05/12/2019 11:27

@Sixp is your dd into coding? Kano still have some Black Friday offers on from the looks of it?
Kano

By the way, I love the chat! This is the first time I’ve found the Christmas bargains thread and it’s been amazingly helpful!

PinkDaydreams · 05/12/2019 11:32

Snapfish and Truprint are part of the same company, as is boots. I’ve always been happy with snapfish so thought Truprint would be fine, far from it though!

Jammiebammie · 05/12/2019 11:41

Thanks for the new thread reastie. Hope everyone is doing well?
Gutted I’m missing loads of these out. Literally having the worst year, and really not done any shopping for older 2 dds yet so need to get a move on. Dh has transferred some money to me so I can get get a bit done today.
Could anyone please help find me this hoodie? Dd likes this particular one 🙄 and I can’t seem to find it anywhere, would need women’s Xs or S at a push.
Also if anyone knows how to get old school vans in a size 4 at a discount that would be fab, gutted dds now in adult sizes lol.

I feel a massive twitch coming on, but I have everything for the child who will love it already.

GymSloth · 05/12/2019 11:52

Rymans are doing £5 off a £25 spend with code 1768.

I always thought they mainly did stationery, but they seem to have quite a lot of toys, games and other Christmas stuff.

Notlongnow1 · 05/12/2019 11:56

@jammiebammie is it this one?

www.houseoffraser.co.uk/brand/champion/oth-script-hoodie-667279

Jammiebammie · 05/12/2019 12:04

Thanks @Notlongnow1 thank you but that’s not it unfortunately. That’s the one I keep finding too but the one she likes has brighter writing and white toggles... really don’t see the difference myself personally, but it’s the only thing she’s really been specific on wanting 🙈

yafilthyanimalandahappynewyear · 05/12/2019 12:05

Superdrug have some Versace The Dreamer Eau de Toilette for men reduced to £21, got that for a relative, late teens.
The only reason I signed up to Mumsnet was to post on this thread. The general chatter and helpfulness are just as appealing as the actual bargains.

Jammiebammie · 05/12/2019 12:05

Ooh @Notlongnow1 I’ve just found it on HoF but it’s a men’s one.. I’m thinking that might be too big though even in the small, hmm. Thanks for the head a up though didn’t think to check there.

whoknows1230 · 05/12/2019 12:09

@PoopaPoopa, My 10 DD has the Fitbit Ace and it's perfect for her - tracks steps and sleep, etc but doesn't have any calory counting, heart rate monitor etc.

There is also the Garmin Vivofit Jr, which my 7 DD has. It's more fun (you can set chores/tasks on it which they can complete to earn coins. They can then exchange coins for a reward which they choose from the "shop". You specify the rewards - trip to the park, sweets, later bedtime etc.

I think for a 9 yo, I would go for the Fitbit though. I imagine that by the time my 7 yo is 10 she will have grown out of the Garmin.
