Thank you @luckiestgirl for the title which came from her post which I’ve copied below

‘I twitched on the moles.
And the Clinique
And at body shop (30% off)
And at love honey (I got £20 off)
And I’ve somehow bought an 8 foot Christmas tree.
And lights
And a TV.
And a fitness tracker.
And stocking fillers for the kids.

Oh god, stop me now please‘

Does anyone have any codes etc?

Jammiebammie · 05/12/2019 12:35

Thanks looking for baubles, found it at the champion store but it’s £100 😱😱

Thanks @Carrie76 that the men’s one which would be too big unfortunately.

Thinking she’ll just have to do without, thank you all for helping me look though, much appreciated.

PoopaPoopa · 05/12/2019 12:36

@Jammiebammie haven’t caught up on the full thread yet so not sure if anyone else has replied about the vans but I wear size 5 and get mine in the kids section so you should be fine with a size 4 in kids. Vans outlet shops are usually good if you have one near you.

Jammiebammie · 05/12/2019 12:40

Thanks @PoopaPoopa I thought the vans kids only went up to a 3 so that’s good to know. Can only find the women’s ones online so i’ll get dh to check in store and hopefully have more luck. I’m really not doing well with my shopping today, I’ve lost my knack 😂

margaritasbythesea · 05/12/2019 12:48

Girlwiththeyellowhat - have you signed up for BuildaBear emails? I get bombarded with offers, usually for quite specific things I don't want, but they might help you out.

Gardenworm · 05/12/2019 12:57

Chuckling at the chat created by the chat about too much chat. Was it a double bluff by the person who chatted about? Anti chat to create even more chat?
Merry Christmas especially to @Sixp and your daughter Xmas Smile

Half price bomb cosmetics set at All Beauty (think you can go through top cash back too. Cute festive box.

I find the gift suggestions useful. I was able to help my mum out the other day, she was trying to work out what to get her elderly cousin and her husband. They’re very much at the don’t want more stuff age, I’ve often seen the suggestion of making a small hamper of favourite foodie things come up for older people, so I passed this on to my mum. She rang me yesterday thanking me as she’d just been to the garden centre and bought the bits for the hamper.

SlipASomethingUnderThe · 05/12/2019 13:12

I'm glad everyone was pleased with their LOL Surprise. Amazon chat are really good if there's an issue with your order and will usually give you a discount if your not happy.

Old Skool Vans £45.50
Code WINTER

Powder beauty box £10 These are still on offer did anyone buy one? I don't know whether to get one.

Sixp · 05/12/2019 13:14

Just bought 2kg of pick n mix I didn't know I needed 🤣

SlipASomethingUnderThe · 05/12/2019 13:19

Oversized Huggle Hoodie For the poster who was looking for these. I can confirm these are amazing. I would definitely recommend. Make sure to choose a seller from the UK or Ireland so it arrives on time.

AllYouGoodGoodPeople · 05/12/2019 13:26

I find the gift suggestions useful - especially when someone points out how I can get what I want with a massive discount - isn't that the point?

Winterwarmer21 · 05/12/2019 13:29

A couple of years ago I got a big box of gin from a company called flavourly I think. It was a recommendation and a discount through these threads I’m sure. Does anyone remember and know if there is a similar discount this year?

NoSquirrels · 05/12/2019 13:29

For those looking for ideas for hard-to-buy-for people, or people who 'have everything', this is a bit niche possibly, but it really is excellent: Storyworth

You get a year's subscription where they email the recipient every week with a prompt to share a story about their life - you can customise what questions get asked. Then they can just reply to the email with their answer, and at the end of the year it is made up into a beautiful book.

On offer at the moment for $79, which works out about £60.

I bought a subscription last year for my mum, who is very into family history but also who has Stage 4 cancer. I wasn't too sure how she'd feel about it when I bought it, but she has really, really enjoyed it (and recommended it to her friends), and to be honest, it has been a gift to me too. Some of the answers have been things I knew, but many haven't and some have been really lovely. If you give it as a gift they email your recipient's answers to you every time they respond. It's been such nice email to get through the year.

I have a code for $10 off which I assume would stack with the current discount - I'd then get a free copy of my mum's book too. Do PM me if you like (my name is in the code so not posting it here Smile). I'll stick this in the other thread too.

Winterwarmer21 · 05/12/2019 13:32

@SlipASomethingUnderThe

My powder box arrived today. Beautifully packaged and excellent value for £10.

I bought 2 however and only 1 arrived so hopefully the other one will arrive soon.
