Thank you @luckiestgirl for the title which came from her post which I’ve copied below

‘I twitched on the moles.
And the Clinique
And at body shop (30% off)
And at love honey (I got £20 off)
And I’ve somehow bought an 8 foot Christmas tree.
And lights
And a TV.
And a fitness tracker.
And stocking fillers for the kids.

Oh god, stop me now please‘

I'm a massive idiot, it's not the Hansa wren it's the Kosen one, I was trawling the Internet till the wee small hours and had a very early start. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of your efforts.

RJnomore1 · 08/12/2019 12:19

@starrynight19 you can buy Spotify gift cards if that’s any use?

Mistressiggi · 08/12/2019 12:34

@BlueSkyAtChristmas thanks for the Portmeirion tip, there's loads of gift-suitable stuff on there - currently have a basket full of mugs and coasters and haven't ventured up to the over-£20 stuff yet! They gave me a code HELLO20 for new customers, and over £20 is free next day delivery.
Problem is, most of the stuff in my basket is a gift to me Xmas Blush

imsorryiasked · 08/12/2019 13:17

@Fuckingfuckssake I'm oddly relieved, I couldn't see your DS being convinced by the hansa one!

Might be worth trying bear garden as they seem to have a good range (although not the wren) on their website.
Unfortunately I now feel that I need a mouse, an arctic hare and a capybara Blush

NormaLouiseBates · 08/12/2019 13:27

Any ideas on what to get a little boy of 4 and a half that I know literally nothing about? No idea of any likes/dislikes etc. Would I be better playing it safe and just getting a selection box or similar? Budget £5-£10 so could definitely get a nice selection box but then, I don't know if there's any allergies or dietary issues...

Waterlemon · 08/12/2019 13:37

@NormaLouiseBates
What about a nice puzzle - M&S have always done lovely ones
Orchard game
Books?

NormaLouiseBates · 08/12/2019 13:45

@Waterlemon thank you! It's so long since mine were that age I'd gone completely blank. The Orchard range looks lovely! This has caught my eye: www.amazon.co.uk/Orchard-Toys-Giant-Floor-Puzzle/dp/B005IX6ZOY/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=%27orchard+toys&hvdev=c&hvadid=80607977849360&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1575812495&sr=8-9

Dolphintrainer · 08/12/2019 13:51

@BlueSkyAtChristmas thanks for the Spode code. DD broke a Christmas tree side plate at lunchtime today so I’ve placed an order for a set of 4 side plates and 2 sets of placemats

Dolphintrainer · 08/12/2019 13:56

@NormaLouiseBates we have that Orchard Toys road and it goes together like a jigsaw. It has had a lot of use in this house so I think that would be a winner!

RJnomore1 · 08/12/2019 13:58

Has anyone seen the Pokemon annual for a decent price?

tabbycat985 · 08/12/2019 14:04

Oh no did anyone else take a chance on one of these toy drum kits at £6?
I've just been on to check when it'll be delivered & it finally has some reviews...& they're horrendous! Luckily it was a joke present but I still think I'm going to be too embarrassed to gift it😫

MarchSurprise · 08/12/2019 14:11

Thanks for so many amazing bargains, most of my shopping has come from this thread.

Does anybody have a code for JD Sports? My niece has requested a very expensive hoodie so hoping to bring the price down before I order!

imsorryiasked · 08/12/2019 14:11

@RJnomore1 if you've got a Smyths near you they should have them for £3.99

Mistressiggi · 08/12/2019 14:12

What brand of hoodie is it? I've had Nike and Adidas discounts, nothing for JD though

Lovemusic33 · 08/12/2019 14:16

B&M have Pokemon annuals, can’t remember how much they were, maybe £3.99.

RJnomore1 · 08/12/2019 14:19

Thank you I have a smiths and a b and m close. I’ve done most of my shopping on line but it’s sbout £6 for one online which feels steep.

MissMarple0203 · 08/12/2019 14:20

@Marchsurprise 10% off - UNI2Y3R3S34S

CheekyFucker · 08/12/2019 14:24

Portmerion charge an obscene amount for Highlands and Islands - Free deliver does not apply. Rather disappointed.

Clevererthanyou · 08/12/2019 14:26

Fuckingfuckssake would you be kind enough to check your inbox for a message please? Smile

MarchSurprise · 08/12/2019 14:28

Missmarple - I can't tag as on the app, but thank you sooo much! That's made a huge difference!

Not sure if anybody has used it, but I used Boom25 app as you get a chance to win back the money you've spent on your order.

NormaLouiseBates · 08/12/2019 14:39

@Dolphintrainer great to hear, thanks! Ordered for him now.

Rubyroo73 · 08/12/2019 14:42

Don’t suppose anyone has a Debenhams code to share (apart from the 10%off £50)?

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 08/12/2019 15:03

If the hamper doesn't turn up I'm thinking of a jigsaw for my nearly 80 year old mum as she's quite partial to them.

Has anyone seen any bargainous ones anywhere please? (Online or high street)

I'm not even sure where you would buy them on the high street these days as they're not as popular as they used to be.

Mistressiggi · 08/12/2019 15:09

WH Smith sell jigsaws. Watch the piece size unless she still has razor sharp sight Smile

BonnesVacances · 08/12/2019 15:10

Was it on here that everyone was waxing lyrical about a sellotape dispenser? I've just started wrapping my presents and I've decided I need one.
