@imsorryiasked the Hansa does look perfect, and that's the one in Germany on ebay, the delivery window is well into January though. I've emailed Hansa UK directly, I'll see what they say. As for the hampers, they stated on Thursday that over 50% had already been dispatched, they've since deleted that post, the whole thing is beyond ridiculous, why on earth wouldn't they just evidence that these hampers exist?? Of course none of us can say at this point if they're genuine or not, but I doubt it.

Of all the comments on the hamper FB page, I've not seen anyone say they've received one yet...and people are still believing it?? If they were being sent out from 1st Dec surely SOMEBODY would have received one by now.

To be fair if I receive something I would not go onto a Facebook page and mention the fact, only if I hadn't received it.

I want there to be hampers and I’m holding out for them meantime, but I don’t really think they will be forthcoming. If would be so easy to post a photo of them being packed and at least one person from this thread would have received theirs and posted about it. I’m not sure why they are keeping up the pretence whilst offering refunds. Luckily, it will be a bit inconvenient if I don’t get them but I have other options. I feel sorry for those that are relying on them.

I wonder if there would be anyway of checking with Menzies or dpd who are supposed to be delivering them ?

@Fuckingfuckssake if you do end up getting the German one, could you have a little present or card on the tree from the wren saying that it had gone on holiday when he discovered that s/he was coming to live with him and as it’s a long way to fly when you’re such a little bird (especially when you’ve gone on holiday as you’re tired) but that you’re making your way back, you’ll send updates as you come back and you hope to see him in time for February... you could have some fun with it and it would spread the Christmas fun out beyond Christmas Day!

Regarding the hgc refunds, anyone actually received them into their credit card or bank? I’ve had the email but not had a chance to check yet but can take upto 5 days to show so I guess it’s a waiting game.

Re the hampers someone suggested they take a photo of a packed hamper and they promptly cancelled her order and told her it was because she used a discount code that wasn't applicable. When other people called this out as being petty they deleted all the comments.

They've deleted so many comments over the last few days including people saying they were promised by email that their hampers would come by X date and they haven't and took their reviews section down including comments by suppliers they hadn't been paid (looks like they used the products they bought for competitions to get people to like their page)

I'm oddly fascinated by it!

That's exactly what I'm doing as I only ordered the one for my mum. If it turns up, great! If not .....God knows what I'm going to get instead!

If it's a scam it's not exactly a clever one. I just think they're out of their depth but too scared to admit it and are burying their heads in the sand.

I almost ordered the hampers but didn’t in the end. It does see, strange that no one has had one yet despite despatched going out from 1st December so a week ago. I know delivery can be slow this time of year but a week seems excessive.
