Thank you @luckiestgirl for the title which came from her post which I’ve copied below

‘I twitched on the moles.
And the Clinique
And at body shop (30% off)
And at love honey (I got £20 off)
And I’ve somehow bought an 8 foot Christmas tree.
And lights
And a TV.
And a fitness tracker.
And stocking fillers for the kids.

Oh god, stop me now please‘

OhRex · 07/12/2019 09:35

@Jacopone we have that advent calendar and it has been a HUGE hit. Seems very good quality too. Loved having something that wasn’t full of plastic tat and that she could use afterwards.

Fuckingfuckssake · 07/12/2019 09:39

@imsorryiasked don't suppose you (or anyone else) can link to the soft toys on Amazon? I can't find them. Ta.

Lovemusic33 · 07/12/2019 09:39

Has anyone seen any good offers on teen/laddies coats? Dd has just broke hers 😡, don’t want to spend a fortune as she breaks everything but something trendy.

Mitsufishi · 07/12/2019 09:40

Amazing thank you so much Freeekedout

Was there a discount or referral code or anything do you remember?

MulberryPeony · 07/12/2019 09:42

Twitched on the funkoverse for DD.

imsorryiasked · 07/12/2019 09:46

@Mitsufishi it was on the men's gift thread www.sketchbookproject.com/

imsorryiasked · 07/12/2019 09:48

@Fuckingfuckssake add my Amazon links failed so dismally earlier probably not but if you search again for "living nature soft toys" they should pop up. Just seen a beautiful 60cm husky too . . .

Free 6 piece mini set when you spend £45 at Bobbi Brown. Code CYBERBB

ritzbiscuits · 07/12/2019 10:04

Argos have half price mini figure blind bags. Minifigure series 19, Harry Potter, Lego Movie 2 and Disney ones all in stock locally for me for £1.50.

Great stocking fillers or I'm using a couple for cracker gifts.

Jacopone · 07/12/2019 10:10

@OhRex
Yes, I thought so. Thank you for confirming that they are actually good. I don’t have small children any more but was considering Friends calendar as it had fun charms you could put on a bracelet ( like Pandora) and other decent looking bits.
Mmm, daughter still obsessed with Friends...
Aw...
Terrible turmoil. If I go back to Sainsb and send DH on his own to get a tree he sure will get carried away and buy the biggest spruce available.😤

TheGlaikitRambler · 07/12/2019 10:14

I've just had another email about the hampers, for a possible scam they are keeping everyone well informed! Email just says they had so many orders they are a bit behind and to reply if you would like a refund.

Duchessofealing · 07/12/2019 10:16

Those of you who didn’t get a £10 voucher in your white company catalogues check your post - I’ve just had one through separately.

thaegumathteth · 07/12/2019 10:16

@PigAuntie aldi have chunky knit mustard throws and cushions with grey Pom poms in the corners

LazyDaisey · 07/12/2019 10:23

advent calendar idea:
I found the Lego city advents (along with playmobil, Lego friends and Lego Harry Potter) in Fenwick’s store all reduced to £10...

I put together the contents of the Lego city calendar and along with the base board that was for £4 on Amazon while back, today our kids came down to a letter from Santa’s Toy factory, asking them to be official toy testers for “next year’s” advent calendar. They have been given rules (be kind, share and don’t squabble otherwise the prototypes lose their North Pole magic) and report back with a video review to send to Santa. If they keep these two rules, they get to keep the tester toys.

LazyDaisey · 07/12/2019 10:24

Forgot to add, it went down a treat and the kids are super excited. They’ve been playing for 3 hours with them.

PinkDaydreams · 07/12/2019 10:25

@LazyDaisey that’s brilliant! Lovely Christmas magic 🎅🏻

Gardenworm · 07/12/2019 10:26

Meh. Missed the barbie kitchen thing, had it at £15 but wouldn't add it to my basket and now those links show £40!

whereareyousleep · 07/12/2019 10:38

Aw missed the play doh fire truck I was up at 6 aswell ggrrr

LazyDaisey · 07/12/2019 10:52

Not sure if this amazon reduction has been posted yet but Playdoh Dentist set is down to £8.59 from £16

Fuckingfuckssake · 07/12/2019 10:52

Nope, I am officially dense, can't find the offer. I might go back to bed.

Lc2006 · 07/12/2019 10:53

barbie malibu house reduced from £120 to £68

Barbie wardrobe reduced from £35 to £25

LazyDaisey · 07/12/2019 10:58

Num Noms Playset where you make slime I think is at one of its lowest prices for £9.79

That said, according to camel camel camel, its average price is £15ish so it’s not as huge a saving as listing suggests. It look like a very substantial piece judging from the video, so if anyone is looking for a present with a presence ... Grin

LazyDaisey · 07/12/2019 11:02

Oh bloody hell, it’s jumped back up to £20ish while I typed this. Hmm. Someone’s trying to drive traffic to their site methinks.

handmademitlove · 07/12/2019 11:13

Can anyone recommend reusable make up remover pads set - or what cleanser to add for a teenage girl?
