Thank you @luckiestgirl for the title which came from her post which I’ve copied below

‘I twitched on the moles.
And the Clinique
And at body shop (30% off)
And at love honey (I got £20 off)
And I’ve somehow bought an 8 foot Christmas tree.
And lights
And a TV.
And a fitness tracker.
And stocking fillers for the kids.

Oh god, stop me now please‘

I missed the 20% off giftcards at both Tesco and Asda. Does anyone know if anywhere else is doing them (mainly looking for food-related ones)?

Leflic · 06/12/2019 22:52

Look since no one has received a hamper yet from November deals or December deals or any other deals it’s obviously a scam.
However since so many places do cut price offers no one needs to feel bad. They seem to be refunding....except now when the company has shut up shop,
They were cheap as chips so it’s not as if anyone lost mote than a proper hamper cost anyway. Just try and get your money back.
Personally I feel better about being scammed than buying a load of designer bargains that arrive and turn out to be unsuitable and then have to do something with,

VividImagination · 06/12/2019 22:59

I could manage without the hampers (I’ve ordered 3) and I don’t need them until Christmas Eve anyway so I can sit tight for now. Hopefully all will be well. I’m still waiting for a few other parcels to arrive but otherwise I’m finished.

Now, where to do the food shop!!

imsorryiasked · 06/12/2019 23:04

AbagailsFancy · 06/12/2019 23:54

Thank you @Freeekedout, delayed buying before Black Friday and have regretted it since!

Freeekedout · 06/12/2019 23:59

@AbagailsFancy Yay, glad it helped! We got the Great Hall on Black Friday in Argos for £60 which was an excellent buy and will be DD's main present. But she's a complete Potter head so I'll put the clock tower away for her birthday in April and won't stress about what to get her when the time comes!

Gustavo1 · 07/12/2019 00:08

@Kutsy am currently eating rather a lot of co-op fudge. It’s lovely, crumbly a s sweet but not sickly. Box is rather smart as it’s their higher end range and it’s currently only £2

BubbleTravel · 07/12/2019 01:33

Thanks for the Raspberry House link @imsorryiasked, a lovely little gift for DD who’s just started showing an interest in Sylvanians the last few days

MeanMrMustardSeed · 07/12/2019 06:40

Looks like a brilliant price on fire engine £22 down to £6.70.

Look since no one has received a hamper yet from November deals or December deals or any other deals it’s obviously a scam.

It did say, when ordering that they wouldn’t be dispatched until 11th December so I’m unsurprised no one has received one yet Confused

And as scams go, sophisticated it ain’t. Clear paper trails and the protection offered by credit cards and banks means this would never have been a “clever” way to commit fraud

LyraSilvertongueBelacqua · 07/12/2019 07:42

Anyone seen a decent deal on the singing Elsa doll? Kicking myself for not buying it when it was £12 in Tesco. Now DD wants it for Christmas it's £20!

Sneezein3s · 07/12/2019 07:52

Goo goo Galaxy Dolls £4.50 on amazon. Good bargain as they’re usually £15.00, bought two for my DD’s just hope I get two different ones x

Harry potter trivial pursuit down to £3.99 on Amazon

Whattodowithaminute · 07/12/2019 08:05

Wrapped the bulk of the presents yesterday and a clear lacking in the 3 year olds pile... any ideas?
Recommendations for which orchard toys games are good-I’ve heard some a good deal better than others!

Also thanks for the recommendation a few threads ago about putting stocking presents into paper bags-so quick and easy and the brown Xmas ones linked a few threads ago were super cute (and I think will recycle too!)

christmassymcchristmas · 07/12/2019 08:08

Not even out of bed and I've bought the play doh and hp trivial pursuit. Thanks

If anyone sees a Harry Potter onesie in stock please let me know!
