Thank you @luckiestgirl for the title which came from her post which I’ve copied below

‘I twitched on the moles.
And the Clinique
And at body shop (30% off)
And at love honey (I got £20 off)
And I’ve somehow bought an 8 foot Christmas tree.
And lights
And a TV.
And a fitness tracker.
And stocking fillers for the kids.

Oh god, stop me now please‘

I've just been on the website and it seems every product is sold out how strange??

IdleBet · 06/12/2019 13:26

Sorry there are 134 out of 135 products 'sold out'. Really weird.

Justonedayatatime11 · 06/12/2019 13:26

So annoying. Just raised a chargeback with the bank. Now to find an alternative gluten free hamper Angry.

YuleAreBeingUnREASTIEable · 06/12/2019 13:29

Rubbish re the hampers. That’s the first scam I can think of on this thread. I hope everyone can get a refund. Not the stress you need right now.

TheGriffle · 06/12/2019 13:30

For the hampers I’m Fairly sure it took you to a separate payment screen. It had the secure lock on it as well. They have put everything as sold out on the website as they say they have a break between now and the new year to concentrate on getting the orders out and to have a break themselves.

They sound legitimate in what they’re saying but very clever lads if they turn out to be con artists!

Purpleheadgirl · 06/12/2019 13:31

Re the hamper items being sold out, they said they were stopping orders on 2nd December and excess stock to be donated....

Yeknom · 06/12/2019 13:39

Gaaaah re: hampers. I ordered a gluten free and diabetic one. Can probably get by without the GF one but any genius ideas for the diabetic recipient gratefully received! x

VividImagination · 06/12/2019 13:52

I’m sure the payments for the hampers were via ?shopify or something like that. I think it was secure.

Tiredmummyof3 · 06/12/2019 13:53

It took you to that Shopify website to pay with the hampers....it was that which persuaded me it was legit!! Fool!

MulberryPeony · 06/12/2019 13:54

Fingers crossed for all the hamper buyers.

BarkandCheese · 06/12/2019 14:01

Yeknom they’re probably not a bargain but my dad says the Fortnum and Mason sugar free dark chocolate bars are by far the nicest sugar free chocolate bars he’s tasted. He also likes the hotel chocolate low sugar chocolates, but they aren’t sugar free so obviously depend on the level of dietary requirement.

Smelly50 · 06/12/2019 14:09

Yeknom sainsburys and waitrose have a good selection of sugar free biscuits , jams sweets . Maybe at this late stage make your own hamper . In a nice jute bag

PinkJam · 06/12/2019 14:10

Neal’s Yard are giving rewards out when you spend £50 or more.

Free gift of Aromatic shower gel when spend £50

Then shower gel and another gift when spend £80. Then 3 free gifts when spend £120. And 4 free gifts when spend £150.

wineoclockthanks · 06/12/2019 14:11

On a happier note, 50% off beauty gifts at M&S.

Tooner · 06/12/2019 14:11

Bloody hell those bloody hampers. I can't believe we've been ripped off. I bought two of the sale ones on Sunday so I gather I can't make a claim for the refund just yet. The money has came out of my bank account. How maddening for everyone. Good luck to all in getting the money back,

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 06/12/2019 14:12

Could anyone recommend where to look for a fleecy onesie, suitable for a 70 year old lady? Preferably bargainous as I have already ordered her a hamper but in light of the recent updates think I should have a backup. That is the only other thing she has mentioned wanting after seeing the grandkids'!

PinkJam · 06/12/2019 14:13

M&S have up to 50% off selected beauty gifts.

Build A Bear have up to 30% off gifts.

nicky2512 · 06/12/2019 14:22

Has anyone got the half price Soap and Glory set. I'm tempted to twitch for dd. It looks good in picture but I only want it if it looks impressive in real life!

I also want a Cath Kidston Christmas Village Stanley mug, They are sold out online and no shops near me so I would be happy with something similar if anyone comes across it.

I have a naked wines £75 off a case of wine over 114.99 voucher

dancemom · 06/12/2019 14:27

Raging re the hampers! I ordered 4 in total and will now have to go looking for alternative gifts 😩

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 06/12/2019 14:40

@SlayingDragons oh we are handbag mad in this house, my DDs have more than I do (and that's a lot Grin). They are older teens but Ive seen younger ones with the same bags. They seem to like small bags. I don't know what your budget is but there are high and low price points for all these styles. Also, my DDs don't use purses, they use little card wallet things if you wanted to add one. (This is why they like small bags - travel card, key and phone and they're good to go!) Recent purchases have been

Yes, small backpacks. Black patent leather much admired.
Small corduroy shoulder bag with long strap.
Small square bag with chain strap.

I've attached some styles, but if you have a peek at Asos and Pretty Little Things etc you can see what's popular.

(PS SO annoying about the hampers, sympathy for all affected. Can the next thread title be FuckYourHampers or is that not in the Christmas spirit Wink)

tisonlymeagain · 06/12/2019 14:41

I've ordered the Soap and Glory set @nicky2512 as I can't get to store, it's normally good value going on previous years.

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 06/12/2019 14:41

And another one

Thread 18 - Oh god, stop me now please
nicky2512 · 06/12/2019 14:45

@tisonlymeagain Might chance it - it looks good and it would make her presents look a bit bigger!

EauDeResistance · 06/12/2019 14:46

The Soap and Glory looks to be a variation on the tin I got last year from Boots, half price at the time. It was impressive looking. Great value.
