Thank you @luckiestgirl for the title which came from her post which I’ve copied below

‘I twitched on the moles.
And the Clinique
And at body shop (30% off)
And at love honey (I got £20 off)
And I’ve somehow bought an 8 foot Christmas tree.
And lights
And a TV.
And a fitness tracker.
And stocking fillers for the kids.

Oh god, stop me now please‘

sugarplumfairy2010 · 05/12/2019 13:35

It arrived like this without a box so good job it came in school time!

Whattodowithaminute · 05/12/2019 13:35

Just registered on the Clarins website (10% off for new customers) as a specific bubble bath had been requested; have managed to get a spa set, 3 lots of the bubble bath, 3 hand creams for teachers and 2 free gifts, 3 free samples all for £118 which isn’t bad considering the normal price of the bubble bath is £21 a bottle...

Elphaba17 · 05/12/2019 13:37

SlipASomethingUnderThe - thanks for the powderbox link. I'm tempted by one of them for my niece but know nothing about beauty boxes- are they good value?

Elphaba17 · 05/12/2019 13:41

Winterwarmer21- thanks for the feedback, which ones did you order? And did delivery take long? Sorry for all the questions but we are away late next week to trying to avoid any deliveries arriving then.

Winterwarmer21 · 05/12/2019 13:47

I ordered on the 29/11 so just under a week for 1 and longer for the other one.

I ordered the rejuvenation box which is now out of stock and the one I’m still waiting for.

Then I ordered the special edition beauty box with the chole perfume tester. It has a full sized bronzer, make up sponge etc.

I didn’t look at all the products in real life as it was wrapped in tissue paper then some shredded tissue paper so i didn’t want to mess it all up but for £10 delivered I’m pleased.

imsorryiasked · 05/12/2019 13:51

@Jammiebammie I think this is the hoodie you want, available in XS. (Lots of others on there to but all in plus sizes it delivery in January!)

Elphaba17 · 05/12/2019 13:53

Winterwarmer21 - thank you. I've ordered this one, looks a lovely gift for £10.

Saltrock have 30% off all full price items. I’ve been waiting for a reduction in the men’s joggers (ds3’s favourite) which weren’t reduced on Black Friday but thought 30% would be better than nothing. However today they are reduced and the 30% off code worked on them. Less than half price!

If you’re buying from Saltrock for the first time I have a referral code on the referral thread.

EmGee · 05/12/2019 14:02

For anyone who didn't get a recent Boden code. I phoned them and expressed disappointment that I had not received a 15£ off a 30£ voucher and the customer service agent said they would credit one to my account. It took a bit of 'live chatting' to work out how to get it, but they did indeed honour it. Worth calling them if you didn't get one! Apparently the codes are sent out by the marketing team and therefore completely random......

Consensus seems to be we enjoy the chit chat/ideas 🎅🏻🤶🏼. I agree, it really does feel like a lovely friendly, kind and helpful community.

Today I am mostly trying to think of a clever Christmas nn —and failing—

Well I finished weeks ago. DH still needs to get his family presents though and naturally need me to help Hmm. Can anyone remember the meat spike thing from many many threads ago? Would appreciate the details.

And I love the chat so chat away. Smile

bakingcupcakes · 05/12/2019 14:29

I like the chat too. My contribution for today is that Asda have Lindt 200g balls on offer for £3.50 (reduced from £5) and if anyone has an Angry Birds fan the small soft toys that sit over some chocolate are half price so £2.50 instead of £5. I bought one for DS even though we really don't need anything else and I think the amount of gifts is going to look obscene when I get it out to wrap. I was actually considering giving some of it to my mum to wrap up for him earlier today as I think I've got too much.

Whenasuitcasejustwontdo · 05/12/2019 14:30

@Elphaba17 I bought a powder box months ago, the special edition one with nails Inc polish. I've bought quite a few different beauty boxes before and this was my favourite. I'm tempted to buy it again! I'm sure your niece will love it.

ArthurChristmas2 · 05/12/2019 14:31

Would anyone know if there are ever any offers ever on a dry robe? They seem to be hugely expensive but my daughter would love one having dreamed of it this summer whilst surfing in West Wales. I’ve got her main present so can’t push to this unless I get a deal!

Thanks for all the great offers so far and just the general chit chat!

PinkJam · 05/12/2019 14:32

@SlipASomethingUnderThe I was really pleased with the LOL Surprise and thank you again for linking to it Smile I think it’s probably been my best bargain this year - such a great price!

tisonlymeagain · 05/12/2019 14:34

Can someone please remind me (for the 33,223th time) what the best cheapo AirPods are called?

imsorryiasked · 05/12/2019 14:37

@mogtheexcellent spike

Themazeoflife · 05/12/2019 14:40

tisoymeagain TWS i12

tisonlymeagain · 05/12/2019 14:42

Thanks @Themazeoflife

tisonlymeagain · 05/12/2019 14:44

Have people actually tried these 'Airpods'? The reviews on Amazon are all within a few days of each other and none are verified which makes me smell a rat...

Themazeoflife · 05/12/2019 14:49

If I remember reading rightly, it was the person who originally mentioned them, had tried a few and said the i12 are the better option.

Yeknom · 05/12/2019 15:01

I'm another who loves the chat...and therefore would like to take the opportunity for advice. DD has finally written her list to the big man and is asking for a "chocolate toy set" ie something wooden she can play with in the IKEA kitchen. I saw a cute one on eBay but it's out of stock. Any suggestions? I'd rather not pay a fortune as she was done (and she's also now asking for a jellycat unicorn which I need to find a bargain on...)

Grafittiqueen · 05/12/2019 15:02

My Dh and DD both have TWS i12s and they have no issues with them. Bought some for DS for christmas too.

imsorryiasked · 05/12/2019 15:13

@Yeknom would this set work?
