New thread for the new day. Temperature is starting to drop again and it's going to be rather chilly for the weekend and the start of December!

We're on a weirdly-quiet train home. It's almost-deserted. Odd!

Everyone’s gone now and we’re getting ready for bed!. I can’t wait for tomorrow, it’s my absolute favourite day of the year

What a busy day Mrs!

M&S was actually fine, a little busier than usual but nothing crazy. We got what we wanted so apart from picking up a loaf of bread tomorrow we are in hibernation mode. Only plan for tomorrow is the Christingle.

The shops were busy but not unreasonable, l will be doing this again
Bought Mum a naice skirt in the last minute shop in EWM , l had a bargain half price £14 instead of £28. I took it up and she loved it so she has got it on , l don't wrap clothes presents because l have to try them on her, in case l have to take them back .

Hello! I've just got into bed. I forgot to pack any underwear! So I've got to go to Tesco tomorrow to get some

Took ages to get here but it's brilliant and I've been in the hot tub. Also cooked dinner for 22 people but I'm pleased that's done as now I feel I don't have to do anything else

They all made it then Wreck ahh l am glad m'dear have a great time and now you have done your stint you can relax even more in the hot tub

Hope everyone’s shopping and prepping is al(most) done and we can all’s tart to enjoy the fruits of those labours!!

I am on my way to work (have to appear, will disappear fast too ). Going to M&S en route to see if they have a free range turkey - DH a bit miffed with what I got so if I get a better one, I’ll give the original to local priest as he’d know someone who can use it. And if I don’t, we have the original ourselves.

Dd still asleep when I left as we went out to watch the new Star Wars last night. It was ok, but not the best SW movie - surreal seeing both Carrie Fisher and the Wookie as both have died since. Will try to get back in time for her swim in the sea later (chilly, definitely not for me this year!!)

The only other thing I have to get today is a present for DH - I think a nice jumper and arrange a weekend or night away while dd is at her tournament.

Went to Tesco at 6:45 this morning for pants and socks. It was dead! Not like round where I live

I have my shopping all put away. I've just started with the ham on the stove and now I'm considering which baking to do first.
