Morning!

New thread for the new day. Temperature is starting to drop again and it's going to be rather chilly for the weekend and the start of December!

Let's see if we need thread 9 or not!

Ds and I are having cake. Town was a nightmare to park!

We're on the train, flouncy. It was the 2.41 from Preston (I was originally working a half day, but then got a day back as we were given C Eve off, so took the morning too, but we'd already booked the tickets).

We had to turn someone out of our seat. Weirdly, despite the other half of the table being free, the booking system put us on opposite sides of the aisle with only one table! Odd indeed.

I hate the supermarket; people drive me mad. I hope the trolley barge wasn't painful.

Fanny exactly what l thought but my VERY first thought upon seeing the delicious pictures was CORR!
Wreck they look absolutely gorgeous , l want one too but l know if l ate that in the afternoon l would be so tired an hour after, it just wouldn't be worth it l am lying l always do it l never learn
I went to Tesco it wasn't too bad tbh , l managed to get DH his porcus pies yuk and thrice yuk, l think we have enough food to sink a battleship as it should be, all is well
Popped to see my NDN and have a cuppa with him. he thinks he has the flu , he doesn't but he has a nasty cold, if he had the flu he wouldn't be sat up in the chair finishing off his lunch and be able to have a cuppa with me as well , gave him some paracetamols and put him onhis bed for a sleep bless him. Mum was in fine fettle this morning, we rang a lot of her old friends for a Christmas greeting and she was very pleased to speak with them . Tomorrow she has her friends calling in & Sunday & Monday so she will enjoy that
She wanted me to send £40 to the Sally army for two Christmas days for the homeless and it HAS to get there by Next Weds so it would pay for 2 of them, l had to explain the cheque wouldn't get there in time so l took the money in to the local Sally Army charity shop and put it in their box . There wasn't much else l could do tbh
Fluffy is the trip to Carlisle beautiful ? l imagine it must be absolutely gorgeous on the way

I never let me dc have got chocolate and cake if we go out. It's either one or the other so it was a big treat! Funnily enough here didn't finish either!

I've left the clean bed sheets for DH to do. Only fair I reckon.

I'm jealous of your trip fluffy! It will be so festive.

That WAS a big treat Wreck and l bet they appreciated it too , it was lovely for them , we are all drooling here can't you tell?
I too am of the snowy trip, it will be just wonderful for everyone
I changed Mum's bed too Wreck , to the Christmas sausage dog one, it's lovely and she really likes it , so bright and festive

I must admit I’ve been shouty mummy today. I took the DC to the local shopping centre to see Santa and they were good as gold then as soon as they came home they were all at each others throats. I think they’re knackered from the long term and over excited about Christmas, but I was stressed to the hilt. Then DS1 went outside and ran mud into the house!. I was glad when bedtime came around that’s for sure!

Well that was a shit night's sleep! The room is too hot, DH is snoring (on the other side of the room so I can't just kick him!) and there were noisy drunk people in the corridor between 11-1, who kept waking me. At least we should get a refund for them!

Our train isn't until gone 12, so we will have a mooch around once we've eaten ALL THE FOOD for breakfast!

The kids don't know about the Santa train tomorrow yet, so that will hopefully be a nice surprise!

I think the kids are waking, despite their late night last night. They'll be very grumpy later on! On time bedtime later on!

Hotels with dc suck. The cat woke ds up before six this morning now I'm tired too because I was up late wrapping.

Busy day for me today. Lots of Christmassy things planned with the kids. My cousin had a baby girl this morning too so I’m off to get some things for her.

I've finished my wrapping!! So happy. And I made low carb stuffing balls. Need to get dd soon from her friends. Raining again.

We're on the train to Aviemore now. The Santa train is tomorrow. We got to the station really early as they don't do seat reservations for some reason. And we thankfully got a table. The train is now rammed!

Neros, when will they decide what to do? I hope it's soon.

Not much sign of snow yet, but we've a way to go! It was chilly in Glasgow, so here's hoping!

Dd is in a foul mood and just told ds what (I) she's got him for Christmas. I'm so cross with her. Not sure what a suitable consequence is for that.
