Morning!

New thread for the new day. Temperature is starting to drop again and it's going to be rather chilly for the weekend and the start of December!

Let's see if we need thread 9 or not!

Flouncy, it'll have to be tomorrow now as by the time we got sorted it was dark! No snow, other than on the mountains, sadly.

Wreck, that's bloody awful. I would be torn what to do too. Maybe tell her what she has too? It's either that or remove a present, I think. Difficult one.

DH said she shouldn't get her present from ds but I said that's not fair on ds. Maybe I'll give ds the present that would have been from her but then that's four days away and I prefer immediate consequences. On the other hand she is now asleep and I know she was just being horrible because she was tired. Maybe a letter of apology to ds? I'm not sure.

Have had a lovely day , my Neice and 2 DC came it was lovely to see them. She was much better today bless her heart. She said she was a wreck yesterday 😩 good day for her today though 😄they stayed 4 hrs 😄
Then my nephew and his partner called in and they stayed 3 hrs and we had a lovely time with all the. Youngsters 🤗
Seems like we have all been busy today Jo 😄🤗
Wreck they are all exhausted and excited, she definitely needs to say she is sorry and mean it 🤗 . The two DC here today were the same, kicking lumps out of each other, all because they were tired and grumpy. We separated them and they said they were sorry to each other and all was forgiven till the next time 😄

mrs awh I’m glad your niece has a great day. It sounds like a lovely day having everyone over. You’re right about children being exhausted, my lot are at each others throats most of the time in the lead up to Christmas. It’s all the excitement.

I’m watching the holiday and having a cuppa. I’m usually in bed by 10 but wanted to stay up for this. We’ve had a nice day today, off to mums for lunch tomorrow. Goodnight all

Evening! Just popping in quickly. I've missed so much! School finished on Thursday so the DC are on the tablet far too much, it's difficult with DD as she draws on it, she's done some really lovely pieces, but they take days and then she has to save each layer separately. People online guessed her age as 16 based on her drawing style, she's 12! She's been obsessed with drawing since she could pick up a crayon though.

All presents bought except a jar of rhubarb and ginger jam for DM from DS2, it's what she asked for!

The cat woke ds ip early again so he's still not caught up on his sleep. DH went out last night and their behaviour got worse and worse. I wanted to lock them outside but instead took myself to my room for five minutes. Feel exhausted today and DH stayed away so won't be back for a few hours. (Taxi's here are about £40 to the nearest town five miles away especially with flood diversions).

Hugs wreck I hope DH is back soon to relieve you.

It was our wedding anniversary yesterday and the ILs are staying so they babysat last night and I have just woken up from a full night's sleep for the first time in as long as I can remember. Today is our mini Christmas so need to cook a full Christmas dinner later!

No snow yet. But the frost is a HARD one! It looks like snow, even though it's not!

Santa train today, at 2pm. We're going out for lunch first, at the hotel opposite the station, and we've told the kids that we are going to look at the steam train which we've heard is going to be here. We'll surprise them with tickets when they click that it's a Santa train!

Shortest day today. Wooooo! Can't wait for longer nights again.

Sorry,I know I’m missing people but I’ve been MIA for a few days and seem to have missed a lot. I hope everyone is ok though.

We are officially in holiday mode today. We landed at Glasgow mid afternoon yesterday, picked up our hire car and drove to Loch Lomond. Spent the evening having a lovely meal then sat in the bar drinking a cocktail and playing cards.

We have nothing much planned for today, just mooching around and relaxing, exactly what we need I think 🎄🎄🎄

Doubt it crazy. He will want to have a shower and do things that he needs to do then we're going to my dads at 12.

We are parenting together it's not awful they're being ok now. DH was home by 9. I've got my second load of washing on and my second bake in the oven. First was low carb cinnamon rolls and second is gingerbread stars!

We’re off to mums in a minute for Sunday lunch. We will stay most of the day, then will see her and DGM on Tuesday as they’re staying over for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. DD2 has broke her wellies, and there’s been a lot of rain forecast so I will buy some of them whilst out today. I might rap them up for Christmas. I also got an idea for a present for DD1 last night so will go and get that today too. The pace has slowed down now and it’s lovely. Tomorrow we have absolutely nothing planned, so I’m on Pinterest trying to find Christmas crafts and bakes we can do. My NDN is coming around with her 3 and we’re going to have a sort of Christmas party for the little ones. Enjoy your day all!

I have entertained Mum's friends this morning , she has been enjoying herself so much. Bless them they gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers as well as Mum it was totally unexpected and l was very grateful very kind & generous of them indeed.
Mum had her lunch then and after that 'Bob ' , a recent bereaved widower just like Mum, came to see her . l left them both with a naice cuppa & warm Mince pies and cream , reliving the past with their respective partners, bless them it was very moving to see them both .
So am home now and just chillin'
