DD and I went to another University Open Day .
I am watching QVC at the moment , they did Christmas on the Saturday . I am planning and doing lists but October will be too busy for me to do much in the way of Christmas . Come November I will meet myself coming back

I assume you all are in bed! SLEEP TIGHT! IT's 9:35 pm for me and 2:35 am for you. I'm about to start my nighttime formula and I ate a few cookies.

My other spawn has returned from my dad's house and now she's heading off to shower and Joe is home from work. I'm watching Telly and starting to wind down for the night.

Eugh. Woke up at 5 because I needed the loo and can't get back to sleep! So annoying.

DS was up at 5:15

Oh no! How old is he? I've forgotten... everyone in my house is still asleep. I would get up for a coffee but don't want to wake anyone.

He is 3 wreck and has never been a good sleeper

A few more years and he will get up without you or you'll be lying in bed wide awake longing for them to get up because you're bored and need coffee like me

DS was a terrible sleeper and always got up really early too. From just before his 4th birthday he started to sleep better, but tends to get up at about 7-7.30. DD (6) sometimes sleeps until 8, but rarely. She's always been a better sleeper though.

And neither will get up on their own either! They much prefer to annoy us. Sigh.

Mine are 9 and 6 and if the oldest is up the youngest won't disturb us so there's hope yet until they start arguing then we have to get up...

Dd2 went out in Cardiff last night and text at half 4 to say she was back safely. We haven't been able to sleep since 🤪

I am up to Mum's this am , she has visitors today . She is happier when she sees ppl. My Mum's Neighbour is wonderful to her. I am buying her stuff all the time to thank her. Only stuff l see and think she will like. I bought her a tartan heart shaped stag and some flowers and little candles this week. It's to show my appreciation for her but it is nothing to what she does for her. She spends a couple of hours a night with her. She is just so kind 🤗
Weather outside is ok atm . Not raining or blowing so l think Lorenzo must be bypassing us 🤔

Sorry you are suffering so badly with your period. That is one thing l really don't miss. Never thought l would ever lose the broodiness for another child but the menopause has seen it off 😂

We had planned to go to a local pumpkin patch with friends today - we go every year because I don’t like / don’t celebrate Halloween but I like to celebrate Autumn. However it’s been rained off. So no plans other than a roast today.

We've got a nice day forecast although it rained in the night. Everyone is up now and I made bacon sandwiches. Dd is being grumpy. I've got to stay home with her because she hasn't done her homework yet 🙄

I need advice ..Christmas is my favourite time of the year ,my kids have annoyingly nearly all reached adulthood ...22. 20 19 and 10...there’s nothing any of them want / need for Christmas,I’m still doing them all stockings ...no idea what to put in ,they’ve not even used last years smellies...the excitement of Christmas morning will be gone with no presents...the youngest is in to gaming and his Christmas list will consist of games on steam ( nothing to wrap with steam)..any ideas?

I can honestly say l was desperate for children my whole life and l never thought I would be able to say l don't want any but l don't and it's somehow very freeing. So the menopause has been a positive thing for me 😁
I didn't appreciate the looks around furtively no one looking clots 🤪🙄
