Booths are releasing their Christmas book on 18th October! The start of my Christmas is sitting down and dreaming of getting everything in it.

Yay!! Mine too!

livingthegoodlife · 27/09/2019 19:52

I'm down south and have never been to s booths. I think I'm missing out! Making do with Waitrose instead....

AuntieMarys · 27/09/2019 19:56

I love Booths! We have one 30 mins drive away. The cheese!

TheWoollybacksWife · 27/09/2019 19:57

The Booths book is a thing of beauty. My SIL always gets me one.

@livingthegoodlife you can find their Christmas range online once the book has been published and I assume it will be the same as previous years where will they deliver anywhere in the country if you spend £100. I think it's free delivery too. I usually just get my fill when I go up to visit SIL so I've never used the delivery service.

Justmuddlingalong · 27/09/2019 19:58

I'm in Scotland. It's not the same swiping through the online book. ☹️

msbevvy · 27/09/2019 20:00

I'm down south but I get some Booths stuff delivered via Amazon Prime Now or Amazon Fresh.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 27/09/2019 20:00

Waitrose, nice though it is, is not the equal of Booths ;-)
I am looking forward to the Xmas book.

livingthegoodlife · 27/09/2019 20:10

Hmmm.... Might have a look then!!

Fluffiest · 27/09/2019 20:13

Oh I love the Booths book! It's a thing of beauty. I read it cover to cover each year.

There is one near my work, with a cafe. Their almond croissants are wonderful.

Toadsrevisited · 27/09/2019 20:15

I live minutes away from a Booths. It's ruinous #firstworldproblem

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 27/09/2019 20:21

I'm Darn Sarf too , no Booths here , just Waitrose (which is probably a poor second)

Justmuddlingalong · 27/09/2019 20:22

I just suggested a wee jaunt on the train from Fife to Windermere in a few weeks to DP. He thinks that £100.60 for the tickets is excessive. Sadly I have to agree. No Booths Christmas book for us. 😢

NoWordForFluffy · 27/09/2019 20:22

I'm really close to two (they almost opened one a 5 minute walk away, my bank balance is pleased they didn't!).

I bloody ❤️❤️❤️ Booths!

You can sign up to get an emailed link / PDF to the book. DH will go to collect ours on the day of release.

NoWordForFluffy · 27/09/2019 20:24

Link for Booths' Christmas e-book.

Everybody down south just needs to buy enough for a delivery. Simples!

lotusbell · 27/09/2019 20:25

Happy to post mine on once I've got it and had a look through.

FlibbertyGiblets · 27/09/2019 20:27

Hurrah for Booths. Proper job.

NoWordForFluffy · 27/09/2019 20:27

I'll post a few too if people don't mind sharing their info!

lotusbell · 27/09/2019 20:28

It does say they are not offering nationwide delivery!

NoWordForFluffy · 27/09/2019 20:29

Oh no! That's a new development this year.

If you're south, you can go to Knutsford to that branch to collect! 🎅🏻🎄

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 27/09/2019 21:16

I have signed up for the e-book to drool over peruse at leisure .

My cats said I'm not allowed the proper paper book because
a- I'm not near enough to buy anything
b- I won't buy enough to qualify for delivery
c- Think of the environmental impact of paper v e-book
d- if they are sunning themselves in the porch and the book falls through the letterbox or porch window it might kill them/sting a bit
I told them they can look at sides of fresh salmon.
They told me there's a perfectly decent fish counter in Sainsbury .

DerektheWonderdog · 27/09/2019 21:39

I've never heard of Booths but now I want their Christmas book! I'm deepest south though so I'm assuming that's why. Is it like a cross between Marks and Waitrose? A 'posh' supermarket?

Letsgotospain · 27/09/2019 21:40

Hurray for all the booths love! I actually always start by buying their stollen and then eating that whilst reading the book. I feel really bad for all the people who don't have access to it.

OP posts:
NoWordForFluffy · 27/09/2019 21:42

It's far more posh than Marks and Waitrose!

Letsgotospain · 27/09/2019 21:44

Derek, it's a really lovely supermarket chain which sells lots of northern suppliers produce. Every year they bring out their Christmas book which is always beautiful.

I've just looked at their website!!!! Ohh, it's not fair! I might have to move! You are all very licky.
