Booths are releasing their Christmas book on 18th October! The start of my Christmas is sitting down and dreaming of getting everything in it.

I am going to be in the vicinity of a booths towards the end of Oct...I’ve always wanted the book. Do they just have them in the store?

Baboutheocelot · 28/09/2019 21:55

My parents are up north and I love looking through the booths Christmas book.

ChicCroissant · 28/09/2019 21:59

Thanks for link, I've just filled out the form to get the e-version.

I live in the SW now, but we do visit Booths when in the NW to get some decent Lancashire cheese Grin and we have a growing collection of their canvas bags.

twoheaped · 28/09/2019 22:00

@weem yes, just stacked on a pallet near the entrance normally.

issano · 28/09/2019 22:00

WeeM yes they will probably be the first thing you see when you walk in! Then are normally dotted around on checkouts etc, well they are in my local anyway.

PrimalLass · 28/09/2019 22:10

When I first found Mn there was a fabulously entertaining poster who talked about Booths a lot. Wonder if she's still here and on this thread.

WeeM · 28/09/2019 22:11

@twoheaped @issano fabulous thanks, can’t wait Grin

greenlynx · 28/09/2019 22:42

@NoWordForFluffy oh thank you! I’ve registered for online version and hope to get to real store closer to Xmas. We have Waitrose near by but I’ve tried all their cheeses by now...

patm99 · 29/09/2019 18:22

I am really disappointed by them stopping their delivery service. For the last few years I have used it (I am in Scotland but use to live in Lancaster) and have so looked forward to my parcel. Oh well back to the drawing board.

Wombleish · 29/09/2019 18:53

Here in the north east there's 2 Waitrose, one small, the other tiny and NO Booth's Sad It's quite telling that the small one is in the posh town where a lot of the Newcastle United players live.

Wombleish · 29/09/2019 18:58

Mind, thirty years ago, I had a live-in job in Silverdale and we used to go the the Booth's in Carnforth for the odd bit, so I have been in one. I didn't realise at the time it was posh, though Shock

SleepingIsOverrated · 29/09/2019 19:01

I've never heard of Booths and feel like I'm really missing out now.

Totally expected the title to be a typo, and the thread to be about the boots Xmas 3 for 2 offer Hmm

VictoriaBun · 29/09/2019 19:06

Boasting about the only think in my whole life I can boast about
Booths
Keswick.... 12 miles away
Penrith ..... 30 miles away
Windermere 45 miles away

VictoriaBun · 29/09/2019 19:07

Haha thing ! ! Not boasting about my typos !

patm99 · 29/09/2019 20:26

We use to live 200m from the the one on Scotforth Rd in Lancaster. Itwas great when I could not drive after my CSection.

Defenestrator · 29/09/2019 23:46

VictoriaBun are you in Cockermouth? 😁

NoWordForFluffy · 30/09/2019 06:35

The Booths' car park in Keswick is like a Wild West free for all! But that's because parking in the town is poor in general. 🙈

VictoriaBun · 30/09/2019 09:36

Defenestrator
Ooh that would be telling But I may have recently attended a certain Taste Cumbria food event this weekend

That’s interesting. The smaller Lancashire Waitrose is in Formby, where a lot of Liverpool players live!

(Strictly speaking Formby isn’t Lancashire any more, but it always used to be)

Zaphodsotherhead · 30/09/2019 17:36

I have signed up too. Up in North Yorkshire, so Ripon would be my nearest, but it's not easy driving distance (we're on the Moors).

But they might deliver over here... I foresee some nice goodies for Christmas gifts.

Defenestrator · 30/09/2019 18:27

I think Malton would be a perfect place for the next Booths, being Foodie Capital an' all. Let's campaign Grin

Zaphodsotherhead · 30/09/2019 18:28

Ooh yes, @Defenestrator! Sign me up!

Fluffiest · 01/10/2019 14:49

Popped in to Booths this morning and thought of this thread. I took a couple of photos for you. Here is the welcome display.
