What have you purchased today for Christmas?

Now that we're well on the way to Christmas I thought we could share what we've purchased in preparation for the big day!

I love writing down what I've bought to keep my mind organized and I also reading what everyone else has bought too for ideas and inspiration.

Today I've bought
Festive cutlery holders
Kids festive pyjamas
Personalised cheese board for my step dad
80 Xmas cards for the kids to give to their class mates
And I also found a festive decorated pouch of dog treats for our dog (doesn't go out of date until Feb 2020 either 😊)in my local supermarket this morning!

No Fluffy, I've stashed it in the festive hamper out of sight My self-discipline is generally pretty poor but Christmas seems to stiffen my resolve. The one thing I struggle with is keeping hold of beer - we just can't leave seem to leave it alone

I pre ordered the new Christmasaurus book for my 6 year old and "there's an elf in my book" for 3 year old. Love a christmas book in the run up to Christmas.

@Louise5754 Yes it was this one I think. Theres loads on amazon, I'd never heard of it until someone on here suggested it.

Just bought 5 year old DS a Lego advent calendar, some books, a new swimming bag and a ball/flat disc that he wanted. Have also got him a jumper and some top trump cards previously. Feeling semi-prepared now!!

@joystir59 I have to start early as DS's birthday is straight after Christmas. If I left it until December I'd have no money left, or he'll have no presents.

Just reduced my hours at work for college so picking up things when I see them.
Also, ds2 birthday in December and ds1 in January.

Just ordered a poppy scarf for my mum but she may get that before Christmas.

Yarn for my knitting buddy, kids books & toys for little ones in the family, a serial killer coloring book (yes, really) for a true crime and coloring enthusiast friend and a giant jigsaw for my games friend. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten anything for close family yet.

I ordered some Christmas bedding today for mine and daughters bed. 🤗😃🎄

A mini micro deluxe scooter (thanks to the mumsnetters who helped us decide which one) down from £82.99 to £65.99 at very in purple, though I prefer the aqua. And from in store halfords some genuine micro accessories; flower, wheel light whizzes and carry strap all for less than £10. They also had the unicorn head down from £15 to £5 thinking I should've bought it.

Two Harry Potter colouring books, Harry Potter and the cursed child and Enid Blyton The Wishing-Chair Collection all from Amazon, they were in their 2 for £7 paperbacks.

I also ordered a couple of book box sets from the book people.co.uk. I got the Judy Moody set for Dd age 7 and Anne of Green Gables set for Dd age 9 and Ben and Holly set for us age 3.
