What have you purchased today for Christmas?

Now that we're well on the way to Christmas I thought we could share what we've purchased in preparation for the big day!

I love writing down what I've bought to keep my mind organized and I also reading what everyone else has bought too for ideas and inspiration.

Today I've bought
Festive cutlery holders
Kids festive pyjamas
Personalised cheese board for my step dad
80 Xmas cards for the kids to give to their class mates
And I also found a festive decorated pouch of dog treats for our dog (doesn't go out of date until Feb 2020 either 😊)in my local supermarket this morning!

Lovely book we read it last year on the run up to Christmas.

Seeing as matalan and little woods have christmas decorations on their site, i’ve treated myself to a few new baubles

I have bought some vegan marshmallows and candy floss for stocking fillers.

Some bath foam and 2 hair products for DD Advent

(cooking on gas me ..plan to source a few more bits on Friday)

Christmas doesn’t get thought about until December in this house, it all still happens and everything gets done.

Today I've booked tickets to see Father Christmas at our local garden centre, and done a Wilkos order, which included some stocking fillers. Those are the first tangible bits I've ordered although I have also booked our tickets for carol concerts.

Today I found a couple of cute letters to santa packs with lovey christmassy stationary. Those will go into the 1st December box 😊🎄🎅

First Christmas present bought today! A red balloon lamp from the film “It”. Scares the pants off of me but my teen DD is obsessed!

Small turtle from Nemo movie for dd. She loved turtles and had couple of bigger ones already.

I raided the mountain warehouse sale for thermal layers for our trip to Lapland - glad I spotted the sale - thermals for 5 are exoensive!

Matalan now have their Christmas shop open - got a few lovely baubles the other day.

Have absolutely no idea what to get either of them for main presents this year - they don’t need bikes or scooters, got amazon fires last year, there’s not really anything much that they want

We aren't having main presents for that reason! Just presents.

I got my 3 eldest DDs little necklaces for their stockings and each of the girls a pair of pyjamas and a book. I really need to get properly started though! 5 DDs all close in age means we have so many things, it’s so difficult to buy for the littlest ones.

As Abouttime pointed towards the Mountain Warehouse clearance section, I remembered I hadn't been there in a while. I have now bought some shorts for myself for next summer, but also a sleeping bag liner for DD's stocking and a mini BBQ for going camping. And a couple of nice notebooks for DD and a DAunt that will be for Christmas presents too.

I just bought long sleeve Star Wars t-shirt for ds. It was £3.99 (+0.99) on Amazon.

Playmobil for the stockings. Had to get it now because it was in a shop that regularly rotates stock and the boys had seen them and really liked them and I knew I'd kick myself if I didn't get it now.

I bought some shower gels and body sprays from Wilko and some Yankee candles, cosmetic bags, a photo frame and dress for baby granddaughter in on online Asda sale.

A massive box of gel pens for DC (half price offer in Wilko), and a sparkly eyeshadow palette, which is vegan with biodegradable glitter. Not sure who is getting that yet.

Tickets for the carnival that comes here for Christmas and New Year.

Today I've bought bath sets, ball pool and balls.

Already started buying little gifts and my eldests main present.
I've got a little list I'm slowly adding too and then getting when out.

Wanted to be really organised this year as usually I leave it till end of November and spend the whole of December stressed and rushing!

Well on the way to Christmas . Yeah only nearly 4 months to go!

I bought lots today!!! The girls are at school so went into town to get the bits id seen but couldn't get with them in tow!

lol leggings, lol socks, lol fleece pyjamas for dd2, slytherin blanket, niffler hot water bottle cover for dd1 from Primark.
Harry potter lunch box and lol drinks bottle for dd2, glittery stationary/notebook for dd1 from Sainsbury's.

plus ordered fitbit style watch for dd1 and dd2 from Amazon, a load of makeup for my sister from nip and fab plus some magnetic building shapes from Amazon. all thanks to the bargain thread!

ordered pusheen bag for dd1 from wish and got lots from the pusheen shop for dd1s birthday in November :)

I bought another 5-6 things for DD Advent .

I think the idea of Christmas shopping is far nicer than the reality . Today wasn't too busy but by the time I had 2 heavy bags , my handbag is fiddly to find things in and the sweary grumpy people out today , I am planning NOT to be doing it in December
