What have you purchased today for Christmas?

Now that we're well on the way to Christmas I thought we could share what we've purchased in preparation for the big day!

I love writing down what I've bought to keep my mind organized and I also reading what everyone else has bought too for ideas and inspiration.

Today I've bought
Festive cutlery holders
Kids festive pyjamas
Personalised cheese board for my step dad
80 Xmas cards for the kids to give to their class mates
And I also found a festive decorated pouch of dog treats for our dog (doesn't go out of date until Feb 2020 either 😊)in my local supermarket this morning!

Anyway. No Christmas shopping today .
DD and I went to London ( Marcble Arch to Tottenham Court Road)
Moseyed into M&S (bought lunch but no clothes)
Got a couple of things for DD .
Looked at Selfridges Christmas Shop.

Just ordered myself a handbag on QVC .(I'll pretend its for Christmas but it isn't )

I haven't bought anything at all - however today I DID start writing a list of what I plan to buy, so that I can spread everything over the next three months wages. Then hopefully I won't be panicking come December! Well done everyone here for being so organised!

Bought some Bodyshop stocking fillers for the DC today and a traditional advent calendar. I also buy a choccy one, but haven't bought it yet

My birthday isn’t until mid-November so the rule is no one is allowed to ask me what I want for Christmas until after that! Doesn’t stop me planning though!

So far I’ve bought DD8 a cat necklace for her stocking. I’ll gradually pick up some other bits and pieces for her.

My sister and her partner are both a nightmare, so will probably get them booze or some sort. My Mum will probably get gin.

I received Lego Friends friendship box today. It was £14.99 instead of £44.99. Nice bargain and a set dd wants.

Hello! Not an HQ issue but popping in while working to find out where @elQuintoConyo got the giant elastics for her dd as I was thinking just the other day that my own dd would enjoy this.

I got some stag shortbread tins from M&S for class teacher / TA presents.

I got smiggle dinosaur Initial keyrings for my boys’ stockings today. Like these

2 nerf guns from argos!! Ment to be 35 each got 2 for 30...Bargain!

I've done quite well today! I've ordered:

A set of coloured wrist straps to go with the Fitbit ace we have for dd.
A little robot and some stackable lego base plates for ds.
Pyjamas for both dc.
Gifts for 4 dns (4 down, 5 to go!)

I finally managed to find some non plastic, non bankrupting stacking cups for, as yet unborn, no 3. He won't be getting much but the elder two are 11 and 7 so would be very concerned if he didn't get some things for them to open for him.😂

I also bought the Harry Potter Origami book, that someone posted on the bargain thread, for my eldest.

An edible slime kit for dd. Impulse purchase at the market. May use for a rainy day before Christmas.

I ordered a board game online yesterday - Fireball Island. I always get the family a board game from Santa. This ones going to be a winner I can tell

Dh got presents for bil and sil. And a birthday present for me ( birthday in early January )

I bought beer for DH. He was sadly with me, but it was the best price I'd seen for the beer I really wanted for him (Einstok Toasted Porter), so I've told him to pretend he's not seen it.

DD was talking about Chocolate Advents today . I'm sure I bought her the Lindt one last year, I remember the chocolate teddy bear held captive but she remembers a Thorntons one . Maybe I;m missing a year or maybe I bought her both ?
I bought her the Thorntons Gruffalo Egg this Easter and it was minging (even DS declined it) so I'll avoid the Thorntons this year.

I need to find somewhere to hide things , teenagers are far more devious than young DC and she will seek things out , the swine .
