Now that we're well on the way to Christmas I thought we could share what we've purchased in preparation for the big day!

I love writing down what I've bought to keep my mind organized and I also reading what everyone else has bought too for ideas and inspiration.

Today I've bought
Festive cutlery holders
Kids festive pyjamas
Personalised cheese board for my step dad
80 Xmas cards for the kids to give to their class mates
And I also found a festive decorated pouch of dog treats for our dog (doesn't go out of date until Feb 2020 either 😊)in my local supermarket this morning!

I bought myself a haribo advent calendar from B&M plus some walnut whips for dh's stocking.

mummymayhem18 · 16/09/2019 07:40

@NoWordForFluffy how do you know which one is for my bed 🤣. Actually mine was the elf one 😆which I ordered before seeing the lovely one in next for my daughter . I think I may have to return it and get the same one as my daughter 👍😆. She has a grey colour scheme in her room so thought that would go nicely. 🎄🎅🏼

NoWordForFluffy · 16/09/2019 07:48

Oops! 😂😂 Xmas Grin

I bought one from Matalan for our bed in similar colours.

We have grey walls as well.

What have you purchased today for Christmas?
I8toys · 16/09/2019 16:57

2 tins of shortbread and 2 bottles of magherita from m&s. 2 initial sacks for the kids from Matalan, 1 for the cat and wrapping paper

banskuwansku · 16/09/2019 17:38

A gingerbread candle from home bargains. I bought small one just to test how it is.

Jolonglegs · 16/09/2019 17:42

OMG, Christmas is ages away! I don't want to think about until Novemb

NoWordForFluffy · 16/09/2019 17:47

@Jolonglegs, then I suggest you stay off the Christmas board. The clue is in the name!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 16/09/2019 18:06

a serial killer coloring book (yes, really)

Tell Me More !
My DD is doing Law+Criminology and is unnervingly obsessed with Serial Killers.
Where is it from?
TIA

NeutralJanet · 16/09/2019 19:13

Went to B&M for a lamp shade, came home with a fluffy glow in the dark unicorn duvet set and millions ice cream sundae set to stash for DD.

mummymayhem18 · 16/09/2019 22:27

@NoWordForFluffy that's a nice duvet as well. I have ordered another of those duvets from Next for myself and will return the Elf one when I receive it 🤣. Also it does make me laugh when people moan about us talking about Christmas when they have obviously searched and entered the Christmas posts 🤣🤣. I love reading them all,but the trouble is it just gets me more excited and impatient for Christmas 😆🎄🎅🏼 x

Jammiebammie · 17/09/2019 07:40

@70isaLimitNotaTarget my dd is obsessed with true crime too and I’ve found this for her which looks amazing and has great reviews.

I'm busy stashing baking and cooking ingredients at the moment.

I'm going to buy some nets of citrus (I'll raid the reduced sections!) and grate the zest / juice and freeze so I can just grab them from the freezer!

I picked up my annual Matalan order yesterday. I was told the pyjamas are in tomorrow, if anyone is planning to get them!
