I've told DH that we're having a sorting day next weekend as I'm sick of the clutter building up which he assists in creating rather than helping reduce! I can't wait to have an ordered house again!

I'm sending DH 'scrumping' today (for raspberries from the empty plot next to ours; there's loads of them!).

Feeling better today, just taking the gabapentin, paracetamol and Diclofenac. It still hurts like hell but at least l am not woozy and have a headache from hell.

Afternoon all. I'm feeling a good bit better today and have just ate a potato waffle. Haven't had them in years but thought I'd go for something plain and easy to make.

Neros where are you thinking of for a holiday? Budget flights and air b&b have made some lovely destinations affordable for us when money was tight.

I've been rubbish on my diet and had a McDs for lunch. I never do that but I needed to sit somewhere away from the office in peace for an hour. Back on it from teatime though.

Crazy I don't mind where we go really. We normally just get a cheap flight over to England and air bnb it or go to a premier inn. In August/September though we are going to Portugal. Its the last day of the summer holidays so we got a good price.

Neros are you tied into school holidays? If not or if you can go at Easter rather than July/August then I can highly recommend trying to find an Airbnb in Trastevere in Rome. DD1 lived there when she was doing her MA and we went out to visit her over her Easter holidays. It was a piece of cake to get to by public transport from the airport (train then tram) and getting round the city was easy by tram.

Nero have just eaten raspberries and mango with a little bit of fresh cream as per your suggestions 😄 hope you are feeling Better too. Nothing wrong with a potato waffle in my book lol

Woolly not tied into school holidays yet. DS doesn't start school until next September. I will look at your suggestion. Rome was actually one of mine and dh first holidays away together.

If you cook them really crispy they are very nice, specially with a fried egg on the top with a runny yolk glad you are feeling better m'dear
