Nobody from my school went to the same uni as me, I don't think.

I keep going all swimmy, like a pre-faint, but I don't faint, too. Most bizarre. It can piss off now though as I hate feeling wonky like this.

My DDs have been in York for a couple of days. They sent me this photo from their visit to the Christmas shop.

Fluffy I don't know if I could live alone after all this time but it was relaxing last week when it was just DH and I. We do try to get away together as a couple at least once a year and have managed it for the last twenty years or so since DD1 was school age.

I honestly can't remember the last time I had an extended stretch of time completely alone. It certainly feels like a lifetime ago as DS has been on school holidays for over a month 😂

I had my 3 nights a week in Glasgow a couple of years ago, blissfully alone! I struggle with the noise and clutter of a family home. It wrecks my mental health a bit.

I'm a bit concerned that the sign says 133. I'll have to do another bloody count! 😂 I may have duplicated a day this week...I blame being ill.

I'm actually starting to improve now, thankfully.

I've been doing more cross stitch tonight. I'm not sure you can tell, because it's all light grey and cream. I can tell in person though!

Have come off my 1 x Gabapentin today , am slowly weaning myself off, l only take 1 at night from now on , have weaned myself down to 1 from 3 , will stay on 1 for a while though , l will prob take it down to 1 every other night for a while until l totally stop it. Fingers crossed

Have you got a pill cutter, Mrs? That's how we weaned me off amitriptyline, by dropping half a tablet a time. It's crazy how dependent you get on these drugs, isn't it?

The weather is terrible here, so much for the sun we were meant to be getting!. It’s raining something terrible. I just want it to be the autumn now. Even though it feels like it!.

Skulking back in the weather has me feeling all festive!

We are going away for Christmas this year with four other families all to a house in the uk with a hot tub. Haven't paid yet and by the time we have no sure how we are going to afford any presents. So poor right now. Must get on the bargain threads, although even they can't help with the amount I have to spend (£0)

Anyway determined to spend less this year just wish I didn't have such a massive family

I haven't got a pill cutter Fluffy because they are blooming capsules full of powder not tablets the damn stuff. I know it's awful how dependent we get on the drugs. I am determined to get off them as long as my back allows me to. Keep everything crossed for me , 1 a day seems to be ok, this is my second day only sooo watch this space

Hello all. I take it the weather at home is a bit rubbish? I probably wouldn’t mind some of that right now, I’m a bit pink (sunburnt and lobster looking 🦞). Currently in Seattle. I’m 12 hours away from arriving in Alaska which is somewhere I’ve wanted to go for a very long time.

Yes, I won the bread maker. But the seller appears to have gone to ground. I think he's unhappy about the price he got for it (I was the only bidder), so I'm not counting my chickens that it'll make its way to me yet!

Do anyone know when the M&S / Waitrose food catalogue comes out? I have heard some really good things about them and considering it this year.

It'll be the first week in October. We've done M&S for 4 too.

I think we're using our local butcher for the crown, chipolatas and bacon. Then Booths for cheese and Sainsbury's for the little bits of party food.

Dd has been sick since Tuesday. Poor wee mite, when she gets sick she just wants to lay on me all day long.

Tonight I'm going to order myself a Chinese and then have a bath and read my recipe books.
