Morning!

DH woke me getting up to open our blind a bit (I assume for a breeze) so I'm annoyed already today. I've no hope of getting back to sleep once I'm awake at that time of day. 😟

I'm so tired! I might just have to go to bed after the kids are asleep tonight!

If the weather is nice when we get up we're going to head to the beach. We always go nice and early to beat the crowds, then when we leave sail past a stupidly long queue of people going to the beach at 1pm!

We're off out for DS' birthday Pizza Express meal later on. He's having a BBQ on the day itself (Weds).

DH feeds the hedgies every night ,he soaks cat biscuits in water for them and a couple of cat food sachets we have always fed them. We have 2 here , we think they are a married couple 😂😂😂

We did the beach (it got cloudy and chilly) then went to Waitrose to buy holiday booze and other odds and sods (I had a £10 off £50 voucher, so thought that if we needed stuff, we might as well get a percentage of it for free!).

The kids won't stop bloody arguing. I think they're knackered from school. Two more days and it's the holidays. Woo!

I'm envious of your hedgehogs. We don't have any here I don't think.

I'm also tired and grumpy today. Funny that.

Have spent the day packing as we are off to Devon tomorrow. Just killing time now until bed as we are all so excited for tomorrow :)

I’ve been lurking for a while now and I thought I’d finally say hi. I’m normally not excited for Christmas so early in the year, but I had a tough start to this year so Christmas is the one thing that I’m looking forward to.

We leave at 09:30 fluffy as can't check in until 13:00. Will have lunch en route.

We'll stop at an NT place en route as we can't go in until 3 (though we have the key code so I doubt half an hour before will matter!).

I see some of you are quite crafty. I actually made some decorations for family and friends last year, I’ll have a dig around and see if I can find some pictures for you all to see.

Emrys We’re going to Devon in late August. As a child I went to Devon cliffs once a year. It’s just gorgeous there. Is today going slow?, the day before the holiday does for me.

Flouncy I haven’t done stockings but I have made a few wreaths and tree decorations. I’ve even made a few Christmas themed cakes!. Bunting is everywhere in our little house, what’s your Christmas bunting pattern?. I need some inspo🌟

If we're going to talk 💩, the only poo we've had on the allotment is wood pigeon around the brassicas when they got in a hole in the netting!

I love bunting. We have some from Next though, so I won't make anymore! I'll stick to drowning in cross stitch. 😂

Our local Waitrose (not where we live, the next - small - town) has free parking, so all is good. I prefer Booths, but they don't give me the money off vouchers I get from Waitrose!
