New month coincides with the need for a new thread!

Fluffy that snow dogs coming on fast, it’s very cute, I love the colours used. Your weekend plans sound great.

It’s so sunny by us today, it’s 20 degrees already. I love the warmer weather as it makes me want to get up and go, after my Isaac finishes school I’m thinking we will invite the family over and have a BBQ for tea.

It's a lovely sunny day today, however I am spending it in work which is a bit rubbish.

I'm still under the weather so am not being particularly productive - my painted cabinet is done but I only put one door on yesterday. Need to do the other door and the handles today when I get home.

I did a bit of research on YouTube yesterday and found some very nice Christmas orchestral music (I've been looking for ages but always leave it too late so I'm too busy to get it / add it to my phone etc). So that and my prelim present list is as far as I've got for Christmas prep

Crazy I’m from the South East. My DH has a recurring dream that he’s being chased by a chicken and one night woke up screaming ‘dickhead chicken’. I never let him forget about it😂

Crazy I love watching Delia's Christmas shows, just the sound of the theme music makes me feel all Festive. I watched Fanny Craddock's Christmas shows on BBC iPlayer for the first time a few weeks ago they were hilarious!

When it gets closer to Christmas can someone please remind me that just because something has "Christmas" written on it doesn't mean I need to buy it. I was clearing out my cupboards and found a jar of Christmas Jam yesterday. I do it every year!

Chicken what a funny username story 😂 Mine is quite boring and kept specifically for the Christmas board.

I will try and remind you not to buy more stuff as long as you remind me that I don't need any more Christmas magazines. They all say roughly the same thing and I have loads. I know this, and yet every November I buy more 🙄

Without being too outing, roughly where are you in Scotland? I love it and hope to retire there one day (Loch Ness is my happy place) and will be spending Christmas and New Year there this year

I've had a bit of a dramatic work day. Had a precessional disagreement with someone who reacted quite personally and was a complete arse to be honest. I handled it and I very much doubt he'll speak to me like that again but 😡 because I shouldn't have had to argue today.
I came home still annoyed so used that to spur me into some housework and cooking tea.
Feet up and looking for inspiring low calorie recipe ideas now....

Nero how times have changed we never posted our letters when l was little , we wrote our letters out and put them up the chimney. The fire was always lit we didn't have any heating apart from the one fire for the whole house it was freezing. Anyway the letter as if by magic went up the chimney !! I suppose it is to do with heat rising up the chimney taking it but we thought it was Father Christmas waiting at the top to catch it
Unfortunately, despite all your lovely good luck wishes , of which l thank you all so much . l couldn't stand long enough to do the breast test because of the pain in my thigh and back. , they have given me their phone number to ring them when my leg is better , so l will do that asap. I suppose it should dawn on me that l may not be able to stand but it went over my head hey ho never mind

Crazy, you've been very productive, Christmas-wise. Shame about the work arsehole though. I got loads of Christmas magazines last year. And I'll be getting GH (from MiL who I've bought a subscription for) and Good Food (my subscription) this year. I don't need any more. Though I am after Mary Berry's Christmas book! 🙈🙈

I've made two lemon drizzle cakes tonight. I almost forgot I was planning to, til I clocked our new lemon trees in the garden when I was fetching the washing in, so had to dash in to make them! They're for the school fair tomorrow. Almost-fail.

And I've cracked on with Snowdog. He's coming on. Just background and outline to go!

It's only little, Emrys, so it doesn't take long to make it look like I've done loads. I've done about 2 hours each night. Bigger ones take way longer to look like progress is being made!

It was Tiptree Christmas Jam (supposed to be spiced but not hugely), it's quite nice but totally unnecessary!

We should start a support group to stop buying Christmas magazines @CrazyBaubles. They are rubbish and yet they get me every bloody year, the only good thing is the pictures and I can go on Pinterest for that! I do not need rubbish coasters, gift tags, coffee stencils, or name cards!!! I'm with you Fluffy, I will be buying the Good Housekeeping November & December issues, The Radio Times Christmas issue and probably Good Food and maybe Olive. I just need to stay strong come October!!!

Crazy I'm in Ayrshire so handy for Glasgow, countryside and beaches.

Mrs I hope you can get your meds sorted and get back for your appointment soon. Fingers crossed for you

We’ve been in the garden today, I’ve decked everything up for the summer so we can have some bbqs or parties. I put sun cream on Oscar and I was so worried about the sun touching him I forgot to put any on myself. My chest is red raw, I’ll try and get a picture later to show you all, but I’m in agony. I have to pick Isaac up in an hour looking like a tomato😬

Went out to M&S and Sainsbury's this morning and spent a small fortune on picnic food.

Am just back from Mum's, she wasn't well enough for the eye appt so she had a friend for coffee instead to cheer her up, changed the appt to 2 weeks time, it's of no odds to anyone , the hospital is like a free for all and they always overbook and leave ppl waiting ages with the damn drops in their eyes so it doesn't matter . She was very tearful today bless her , she is difficult on times you can say that again but it is a huge loss for her l know . I am fine though l think l did my grieving when l could see Dad going downhill for the last 6 months of his life.

mrs how annoying your scan didn’t go as planned but at least you’ll be able to get it done at some point..even if it isn’t as soon as you’d liked. My burn isn’t too bad now, but I will have to shower soon and I’m not looking forward to that one bit.

fluffy snowdog 2 is coming along fast. He’s looking great.

We’ve just finished our tea, which was chickpeas, tomatoes, spinach and feta. It was lovely for this weather because you don’t want anything too heavy.
