Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@Christmascookiesmmmm - I was after a men's dressing gown too. I did see some soft ones in Dunelm Mill - good price too. (Around £20 I think??) But, they weren't the best quality. I'm now looking for something else - don't now what yet, maybe Ancestry DNA??

SandAndSea · 10/12/2018 23:33

Thanks everyone for the various links and codes not been in any of these threads before but have saved loads this year. Most recent was the discount on giftcards for the cinema at Tesco.

Brilliant bargain for anyone with an My Little Pony obsessed child. The My Little Pony Ultimate Equestria Collection which has 9 ponies plus Spike (they are slightly bigger than the usual size too).

Normally £40 down to £10 at Argos. These have been selling like hotcakes and I've been checking for days trying to get one and it looks like a good number of shops have them back in but be quick as lots of people are buying them to re-sell.

@sepsis sorry no I didn't I brought the small set for £3.50 as I brought eldest the star wars Lego at £17.50 and I had a £5 off £20 spend on toys.

Ours had about 4 playmobil Ghostbusters toys and all were half price

PamelaPatricia · 11/12/2018 06:41

Good deal on Melissa and Doug pans and wooden food set on Amazon. Approximately half price at £17.49 for the bundle (free delivery with Prime). We have both items and can highly recommend: they last well, offer hours of play, and hold their value. They won't be shipped until 17 December but since they're Prime they should arrive the next day.

I found some really nice men’s dressing gowns in Morrisons yesterday, from £16-20. Really soft and nice colours/stripey patterns.

Mustangsallyis · 11/12/2018 07:05

The cardboard castles at Hobbycraft are always half price. I'd hold your nerve and wait to buy it in case they drop again.

MonkeyfaceThereturn · 11/12/2018 07:07

Mens dressing gown- try TKMAXX. Some really nice ones in there.

GruffaloStick · 11/12/2018 07:34

I need a notepad when I catch up on this thread, I can't remember who asked for what!
I saw Sherpa duvet cover in Primark, can't remember price
Dressing gowns, Peacocks still have 20% off with code MVCDEC20
Small gifts for preschool children, I really recommend the Melissa & Doug reusable sticker album, approx £4 each and they really are reusable. The best thing is they don't stick to anything but the book (and windows but they peel off really easily) my toddler has had hours of play with them

Andanotherhehe · 11/12/2018 07:40

I am looking for towelling robes/dressing gowns. I can only seem to find soft ones.

To the PP asking about teddy bear duvet cover sets I bought mine from B&Ms.

I have one present left to buy, birthday present for my DMs husband and I'm done!

I've wrapped everything aside from the stocking gifts and I will try and do those today.

andadietcoke · 11/12/2018 07:46

I bought the turtle doves fingerless gloves yesterday. Bring on warm hands!!

I think the Boden vouchers have all expired now as they've started 40% off things.

DH and I are building the LOL house tonight. Domestic harmony may be obliterated.

NewDayBlankPage · 11/12/2018 07:47

Sorry for another Birchbox question but how did people cancel? I filled in one of their contact forms but a bit worried that no one’s going to get back to me.

TraceyBond · 11/12/2018 08:07

NewDayBlankPage if you go to your account settings you can cancel the subscription there. I got an email confirmation.

BobDobbs · 11/12/2018 08:29

Just clicked on the my little pony argos deal, according to their website they have one in stock in paisley. Unfortunately I live on the south coast of England so not much good for me, but might help someone.

NoLeslie · 11/12/2018 09:11

Thank you @1stMrsF Smile

LutherRalph1 · 11/12/2018 09:15

Can anyone give me a review on aero press? Thinking of one for DP but we watched the demo video together and the man made it look way more faff than I think it actually is...

Choconuts · 11/12/2018 09:24

Does anyone have a Jack Wills code, please? DS has suddenly decided he wants a hoodie from there. I have never bought anything from them before and had a look on their website - very expensive stuff, even the reduced ones are £45. I already finished the Christmas shopping for him so wasn’t expecting to spend more.

MonkeyfaceThereturn · 11/12/2018 09:36

I'm not sure I'm allowed to ask this but whatever!

I need to buy an iPhone 6s, so have been trawling the Facebook sites but don't trust most sellers. I don't suppose anyone on here has one kicking around to sell?

I need an unlocked one, only 16gb, any colour, but must be pretty much immaculate as it's for an Xmas pressie. If anyone has one please let me know. They seem to be around £100-130 at the moment.

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 11/12/2018 09:44

If you opt for paying by Mastercard on Amazon, you get £5 off selected items (over 4,000 apparently) I just did it and got a fiver off the Dr Who dvd dd wanted. It's on Amazon's homepage.

trixymalixy · 11/12/2018 09:48

Thanks @winebythebottle that’s my mum’s Xmas present sorted!
