I still haven't had my lands end despatch email and I absolutely need it to arrive tomorrow as one of them is for a gift that needs to be posted and tomorrow is the last posting day for Xmas! Hoping it will be on its way today as I was assured it would be when I contacted them yesterday

Thanks newday - I've just managed to get a chocolate football boot from Thornton's which obviously isn't the PlayStation controller I originally wanted but is just as appropriate for the dcs to give to DH, and saves me trekking round any more shops!

@fairiesandelves definitely for the price! They are a bit shinier than I expected for fleece but definitely snug, and a good size. Might put them in kids' Christmas Eve box to snuggle up on sofa with film rather than have them get lost amongst presents on Christmas Day.

I am now massively behind as the end of term lurgy got me hard and knocked me out for almost a week - in fact it was probably starting this time last week as I'd made it out to do some real life shopping and remember seeing that the Chocolate Oranges were 83p so picked up several - but actually they weren't when I got to the till, they were a pound. You'd have thought if I was going to hallucinate bargains I would have come up with a better one than 83p for a chocolate orange!

Having spent the best part of the last week in bed, and still feeling rubbish, got to the point of thinking sod it, I was holding out against giving the dc a nintendo switch but can't think of anything else.

Has anybody seen any good console and game bundles anywhere? Or can they recommend any good games (for 13 and 10 yr old boys) - hoping that there might be the odd bargain out there that will help me save christmas! Thanks

Umm somtimes I put extra stuff in my order and return it straight away 🤭
