Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it [thanks

GreenKangaroo if your budget is £25, I wouldn’t bother with minutures for gin, they are £5 each in supermarkets and it’s just the usual stuff. They are all doing specials on the more unusual gins around the £25 mark at the moment. Check the gins on the top shelf and steer away from flavoured ones unless you know he likes them.

rosablue · 08/12/2018 22:04

@Dolceandgabbana14 have a look at miatui.com at the Sue shoppers - reusable shopping/tote bags with a good zipped section to keep bits safe and two big halves so you can keep stuff separate if needed (eg shopping and your jumper).

I’ve already sung their praises eArlier in this thread so won’t repeat it all but they’re £4-5 each, ST20 gets you 20% off and they’re a really friendly small company with great customer service.

I ordered some more of these bags as presents last week and they were with me in a couple of days. I’ve used these bags for several years and apart from the fact they’re a bit grubby around the edges at the moment they’re still as strong as when new and they’ll look perfect again when I have a chance to throw them in the washing machine!

recklessgran · 08/12/2018 22:50

@rosablue my Sue shoppers have arrived and I am SO pleased with them - absolutely brilliant quality too - thank you so much for the tip.

MutedUser · 08/12/2018 23:19

MutedUser my Works order took a while to dispatch - I think they say 7 working days from the confirmation email and it was just within that.

Thanks should still have plenty of time to get here .

Whitley neil gin is lovely for around £22-£25 (Rhubarb and Ginger or Quince are a personal fave)

I thought I was done...and then realised I really wasn’t!

I need-:
Nando’s voucher
Cinema vouchers
Nike T-shirt/Joggers
Maternity pjs

If anyone has any idea on where to get the best deals on these then I would love you all so damn much! :o

WaitWhatOh · 08/12/2018 23:41

HoneyDragon · 08/12/2018 23:58

Xmas eve boxes - ASDA have them for £2, they are good for the price and are fairly large!

I have bought one between my two as they are 1yo and 3. Now I have to fill it!!

This thread is fab thanks all!

Notlongnow1 · 09/12/2018 07:48

@IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece I really rated ASOS for maternity pyjamas (my modal ones are sooo comfy I can't bring myself to get rid despite my baby being nearly 6 months!). Some nice designs or a large mix and match range if after something plainer. Also a few pairs in the sale at the minute.

NoWordForFluffy · 09/12/2018 08:12

The only new thing in our CE box is pyjamas, everything else (plate, stockings, sacks and Night Before Christmas book) is in there every year. You don't have to spend loads to fill one!

Help!

I'm looking for an unlocked mifi device for someone who travels for work and ends up in grotty digs without Internet or at extortionate prices.

Any one seen a cheaper one than this?
