Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Curry's have got Fitbit charge 2 down to £69.99. Seems a good deal.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 02/12/2018 09:50

Seems like you can't buy 3 travel handcreams with the Elemis offer. Bugger!

sepsisandAKI · 02/12/2018 09:56

Can someone remind me of the Elemis deal? I can’t find it! Thanks

NoWordForFluffy · 02/12/2018 10:08

It's XMAS10 for £10 off and free delivery, Sepsis.

Youcantscaremeihavechildren · 02/12/2018 10:20

I am now officially panicking... I have nothing for dh, nothing for the in laws, nothing for my brother, bil and sil, aunts uncles etc... All those need to be posted... Got shed loads to do still. I'm getting v overwhelmed so am just sticking my fingers in my ears and singing Christmas songs so I can pretend I've done stuff...
Aaarrrgh...
But thanks for the elemis code, now at least have a teacher present...

TheGlaikitRambler · 02/12/2018 10:24

I got my 2 Birch Boxes one day last week.

caffeineanddryshampoo · 02/12/2018 10:26

Quidco has another £2.50 extra reward which you need to activate. Have tried my luck with the elemis offer.

ReindeerPoop · 02/12/2018 10:32

Can I ask what in the way of stocking fillers you are buying 13year old boys?

BlueOooChristmas · 02/12/2018 10:38

Don’t worry, there’s still plenty of time! It’s only the 2nd.

Anyone know of any deals on the amazon fire tablets?

TheBigBangRocks · 02/12/2018 10:41

Thanks for the Elemis code, just got one for my Christmas box.

Youcantscaremeihavechildren · 02/12/2018 10:59

I get horrible anxiety, tend to go into myself and hide from big deadlines, it's really bad this year. Problem is DH doesn't help, it all gets left to me. I have deadlines to post things by the 18th and the 7th, all has to be light and small, all for people who are loaded so can get anything they want and who are into labels etc..
It's just all of it. I thought I was done for dd and ds but now panicking I don't have enough.

imsorryiasked · 02/12/2018 11:03

@Youcantscaremeihavechildren magazine subscriptions and buyagift might be useful? And I'm sure the kids have got more than enough Smile

SimplyPut · 02/12/2018 11:04

Just waiting for a few deliveries but I am DONE!!! DH has just asked me for a wish list 😳... is it wrong I am twitching about the lack of Bargains he will get?!?!?!

SimplyPut · 02/12/2018 11:06

@Youcantscaremeihavechildren I bet the DC's have more than enough. I would go for something they can't get where they live instead of expensive for relatives.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 02/12/2018 11:33

ReindeerPoop stocking fillers I've got for 14yo DS so far include:

  • hand strength exerciser (squeezy thing from Amazon/ebay but have seen them in Tiger)
  • small Banksy wall decal (loads of companies on ebay do them)
  • desk tidy
  • jelly bean "Russian Roulette" game
  • slipper socks
  • Friday Night Dinner "Shalom" pen (this will probably be his favourite thing!)
  • Chocolate orange
  • face wash for men
  • shower gel
woodwaj · 02/12/2018 11:38

No need to panic a bit of planning is all you need. Step one. Download a Christmas present app and input who you need to buy for and your budget. Or write it down I'd you write it do it in the order of who needs it first. Things are less overwhelming where there is a plan.

fairiesandelves · 02/12/2018 12:49

So chuffed with Elemis code. Done 4 orders :-) thanks poster

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 02/12/2018 12:58

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 02/12/2018 12:59

Or 15%... [santa]

Jammiebammie · 02/12/2018 13:10

Dds have finished their lists, dd1 & 2 great and mostly bought.

Dd3 (after some code cracking Hmm)
Confetti pop lol (managed to get!)
Broken squishies and paint (do-able)
Guardians vinyls (managed to get minis on toys for a pound)
Ice cream (!)
Stan Lee pop vinyl (completely unobtainable since the legend has passed away, they’re going for over £500 Shock)

Can’t help but laugh!

Thanks to beagadors bernard and caffiene for the squishy help, didn’t think to check toys for a pound. No markets near me sadly, and although that kit is super cute, she’s wanting tulip paint I think but that’s easy enough to get.

I’ve got a 20% matalan code (in store) that needs used by tomorrow, if anyone would like it?

simply I feel like that too! I hate the thought that someone has spent money on something that I could have found cheaper Blush

Youcantscaremeihavechildren · 02/12/2018 13:28

Thanks all. Just need to stop stressing I think. They got too much last year, so many things they didn't play with and the grandparents have got the big stuff they really want. Just need to chill!

We need a discount off a TV... Looked on AO, curry's etc. Anyone seen any good discounts or codes?

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 02/12/2018 13:30

jammie how about a stan Lee Lego minifigure? www.ebay.co.uk/i/173656801295?chn=ps&ul_ref=https%253A%252F%252Frover.ebay.com%252Frover%252F1%252F710-134428-41853-0%252F2%253Fmpre%253Dhttps%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.ebay.co.uk%25252Fi%25252F173656801295%25253Fchn%25253Dps%2526itemid%253D173656801295%2526targetid%253D486496243379%2526device%253Dm%2526adtype%253Dpla%2526googleloc%253D9045817%2526poi%253D%2526campaignid%253D1506023197%2526adgroupid%253D63481328572%2526rlsatarget%253Dpla-486496243379%2526abcId%253D1139576%2526merchantid%253D115069663%2526gclid%253DCj0KCQiAoo7gBRDuARIsANeJKUZu8ZKPgpJw-Ti2-4yO2gR8HUEm8s6YH3COgU_4uwzZ1kvrtB3r8_kaAkRMEALw_wcB%2526srcrot%253D710-134428-41853-0%2526rvr_id%253D1765692539401%2526rvr_ts%253D6f19b8181670a86644d217e3fff4288f

Its frustrating when they add in things you haven't bought in their lists!! Dd2 I've pretty much picked up everything she's written down. Dd1 has asked for a Newt scamander costume complete with case full of beasts. I've managed the case (vintage suitcase and collected some of the plush toys and bendable pickett) but the costume is proving tricky. Got a white shirt, bow tie and scarf but can't find a mustard coloured waist coat anywhere!!!! She's 10 and can fit into ladies size 6.

purplepandas · 02/12/2018 13:43

Anyone got any tips on kids activty trackers? Mine have just said that this is their Santa gift. Was not prepared for this! Am looking but wondering if anyone has any recommendations.

Jammiebammie · 02/12/2018 13:45

Oh nocutts thank you!! I’m ordering that now Grin

They like to prove things tricky don’t they? I love the fantastic beasts too, they’ve got this waistcoat here (is a boys wedding one but looks the part) or if you’re happy to pay a bit more, this website has the full costume for $39.99, but they do ship internationally. I hope you manage to sort something for her.

Jammiebammie · 02/12/2018 13:47

Argh Stan Lee mini fig May not come until feb 1st, I’ll check Etsy though, they usually have things like that from aliexpress (albeit dearer)
