Aargh does anyone know what you do if you order of amazon and the items don't turn up? Some items were delivered yesterday including the much needed nerf guns. I didn't even realise they were delivered until I looked on my account as no note was left. The courier has taken a picture of them by our bin but they aren't there . I'm just thankful it wasn't the Harry Potter Lego, although I'm now nervous that will turn up with no packaging. Everything else has arrived no problem but I've been home.

I can’t see that the delivery driver has any defence really. Proof of leaving them by the bin is useless.

Jack's has hatchimals for £29 and LEGO Elves Magic Rescue From The Goblin Village for £25 (price at Amazon £67). I got the Lego elves set for dd. She has one elves set already.

Girlsnightin, I have codes but not sure if they are still valid, it was sent by mail to reward card holders but think they might be generic. There is £5 off £25 (NM1-4MA-01CQ20-7CA) and £10 off £50 (NM2-4MB-01QDON-CDD)

There was the weekly (I think) market in Stamford yesterday and one of the stalls had lots of squishies for £3. So maybe check market stalls where you live?

Have a look on birch box Facebook page. There are a lot of angry customers not receiving boxes yet or being told they'll get a few extra items in December's box because they ran out of November's.

Not very Christmassy but my fridge freezer packed in today, and a trip to Currys revealed they are out of stock in the 2-3 quality ones I can afford in the lower price bracket. Earliest I can get hold of a decent one is 12th December, possibly 20th. Have lost the fridge contents and had to cook the freezer contents worth salvaging.. though can't then keep it chilled so a big meat/fish fest taking place overnight. Could do with a deal.

On the plus side, hadn't bought any Xmas food / drink for the fridge-freezer yet.

@truthtopower have you tried AO? Always find them well priced and decent delivery. They often have good cashback at topcashback too

@ohmygod they had some in Matalan but they were £20/£25 so not as great as the Amazon one. Unless you can get a voucher

@BeauticianNotMagician81 I had the same with Claire's, last year. I emailed Claire's and they resent the items straight away. I then found the originals in the recycling bin on bin collection day. Who leaves a parcel in a bin???
