Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Reastie · 11/10/2018 20:48

Tor it was bbc and it was Stacey Dooley (?) or something like that. Was on a couple of days ago.

Ooh I love Stacey Dooley's documentaries! Thanks!

Chocolateunicorn · 11/10/2018 20:52

Probably already on here but in ELC today they had a few games £6 instead of £12 I got frog frenzy ( knock off hungry hippo's ) and a bee game. Then went Sainsbury's and they had frustration and mouse trap for £6ish. My exploding kittens arrived today and looks very interesting 😂

Argos biggest ever toy sale advertised. Just had a look. There is money of :
Playmobile, paw patrol, baby annabel, vtech, design a friend, chad valley, fingerlings and more.

rosablue · 11/10/2018 22:12

So this one might not be a christmas present for others but knowing how many people there are on MN that love Zoflora - I've just had an email through from poundshop.com to say they have their Christmas Zoflora range in - £1 instead of £5 a 120ml bottle, in Warm Cinnamon, WInter Spice and Cranberry& Orange scents.

All those and more here: www.poundshop.com/household/cleaning.html

Having a quick look they even had some JellyBean branded microfibre duster sets that might be handy for people that like to give/receive practical presents and want a filler or stocking present (I can see that my mum would like them for example) - on the page linked to above.

Looking a bit further around they seem tohave loads of stuff in - Christmas, Halloween, make up and beauty and more.

imsorryiasked · 11/10/2018 22:50

playmobil baby animal zoo (big set) half price in Argos.

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 11/10/2018 23:34

Looking for some affordable Christmas plates - not too cheesy, not too fancy - any suggestions where to look?

StarShapedWindow · 11/10/2018 23:43

Imsorry, thanks so much, he’d love that!

Reastie · 12/10/2018 06:33

Rosablue I’ve never quite understood the excitement of zoflora, I have the bottles of it but never know what to do with it!

nickdrakeslovechild · 12/10/2018 09:06

Peacocks have a lot of christmas bits in the sale, I got womens santa pants for £2.00 and beard baubles for £2.50.

ZIGGY911 · 12/10/2018 09:07

THe Paddington box set has sold out. I was paying 99p for it as I was given £5 credit from Amazon from messaging a few weeks ago (due to this thread)!

nickdrakeslovechild · 12/10/2018 09:07

Just had an idea that i could rebrand the beard baubles as lady garden baubles and gift them with the pants as a secret santa Xmas Grin

Notlongnow1 · 12/10/2018 09:34

"I could rebrand the beard baubles as lady Garden baubles" 😂
Next thread title I reckon!

BlueOooChristmas · 12/10/2018 09:34

@Mrsfussypants1 When does it start?

IJustWantToWearDungarees · 12/10/2018 09:37

Just had an email from Body Shop saying that five of the items I ordered are actually out of stock. Really cross, as I wouldn't have ordered the other stuff on its own. They were my class teacher presents! Grrrr.

Also, after the delivery being repeatedly delayed, my Studio personalised Christmas duvet set arrived yesterday. But they only personalised one side, so one side of the pillowcase has a big gap where my DS's name should go. Not impressed and have sent it back.

Not having a good day - I have a feeling that this may be a sign for me to slow down on the Christmas shopping! 😀😀

Mrsfussypants1 · 12/10/2018 09:48

Now. I picked up argos Christmas catalogue and the some of price cuts are shown in there too. Lot of playmobil, fingerlings ect. I've ended up buying some things this morning and I swore I was done.
