Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Girlsworld92 · 30/09/2018 20:51

On another note, amazon have the Samsung tablets on offer. I don’t know much about tech but hubby reckons this is decent for our daughter

Black Friday the old dots might be less than £30. I'm absolutely holding out for black Friday. It's an echo show I'm after

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 30/09/2018 20:56

My mum wants to get my DDs a kindle fire each so waiting on the new one coming out and probably Black Friday!

woodwaj · 30/09/2018 20:58

Check out the Amazon movers and shakers list for the party presents! Someone posted it a good few threads back it's really handy.

I got a code from edf for a free dot when you but an echo (from them not amazon) there's 1 day left on the code and we've decided not to use it. I don't think it's specific to my account but it might be but anyone is welcome to try

LokiBear · 30/09/2018 21:14

Thanks for the new thread! Does anyone know what the best price for a kindle paperwhite was last year? Holding out for either black friday or cyber monday as both dh and dd want one!

Givealittlebit · 30/09/2018 21:19

Ch-ch-checking in again! Thanks to all for recommendations for secateurs, that brand was pretty much recommended by everyone (also posted in gardening as someone suggested) so will go with those!

LutherRalph1 · 30/09/2018 21:21

It's my DS's first Christmas, he will be 8 months

I don't want to go overboard but does anybody have any gift ideas?

Thanks

bogiesaremyonlyfriend · 30/09/2018 21:21

Lokibear using the camelcamelcamel app the lowest it went last year was 79.99 and that seems to be around black Friday. I'm looming out for one too so interested to see if there was a more bargainous price

MrsLem · 30/09/2018 21:30

@LutherRalph1 last year my son was 6 months. I got a Christmas Eve box with jammies, books and puff crisps. Santa brought a bubble gun, sensory balls, a bank, some great musical instruments from Sainsbury's and a vetch ride on car that went from board to rocker to ride on (from Tesco toy sale) We were totally and utterly overwhelmed with what everyone else got him and he was overwhelmed with the small amount Santa brought so you don't need to go crazy! I did also use crazy giraffe and boots to get millions of personalised Christmas decorations and free prints/snapfish for printing out a Christmas photo to pop in cards for family. It's such a lovely time and I'm sick with excitement for my wee boys second Christmas this year!

Pebblesandfriends · 30/09/2018 21:36

Checking in. I have 20% off Boden code if anyone wants, Q4Q2 use before 15 Nov, no idea if it's a once only use or not....

Asj0405 · 30/09/2018 21:39

Another one wanting the kindle fires. Anyone know which day will be best to get them black Friday or cyber Monday? Hoping some one may have been watching for them last year and noticed which day they were cheaper Grin

MsMiaWallace · 30/09/2018 21:40

Ok so I caved & ordered DS a Lego advent calendar from Amazon. Never had 1 before so hope it's good!

NoHufflefucksGivenMugglefucker · 30/09/2018 21:40

LokiBear · 30/09/2018 22:05

Was there a link to buying amaxin vouchers on the last thread? Wondering if I ought to buy vouchers then wait for black friday/cyber monday?

Fifty 27mm bounce balls for £2.95, delivery is free on prime

I find its worth having a bag to cover occasions the kids have to give this to friends etc

Youvegotafriendinme · 30/09/2018 22:34

Got all my main presents. Now on to my little bits. Thinking of doing a small family hamper for some neighborurs and ‘not to close’ family. I was thinking, chocolates, sweets, fluffy socks. Any ideas any one?
